This property did not meet basic expectations. The condo was dirty upon arrival. The bathroom towels appeared to have been previously used and hung back up rather than washed, and the bed linens did not seem freshly cleaned. After walking barefoot around the condo, our feet were visibly black from the dirty floors. The shower doors did not close properly. Additionally, the main shower backed up within about 90 seconds, causing water to overflow onto the bathroom floor. The check-in process was a nightmare. Despite contacting management three times before arrival to confirm instructions, we received conflicting information from different representatives. One person directed us to one address while another provided instructions for a completely different condo. We were also required to pick up keys in another city, making an already confusing process even more frustrating. The surrounding area was also not what we expected for a nearly 1,000/night rental. Several individuals were sleeping on the sidewalk when we arrived, one person approached asking for money. While this is not necessarily the property’s fault, it contributed to an overall experience that did not align with the premium price point. Basic expectations should include clean towels, fresh sheets, clean floors, properly functioning plumbing, and a seamless check-in process. I question if short term rentals are allowed at the location, it did not seem so based upon tenant comments. I cannot recommend this property.
