Nestled in the quiet forest with views and private access to Christina Lake, IKES Retreat has something to offer everyone. A short, private, trail down the hill takes you across the road and into 150 feet of private lakeshore with a large dock. Launch your boat once at the start of the week and enjoy your days exploring the lake, waterskiing, and wakeboarding. Moor your boat to the private dock at the end of each day, and walk up to the house to enjoy an evening out on the deck and taking in the views. What's nearby: Christina Lake's public beach (Christina Lake Provincial Park) is a short drive away, with free public tennis and pickleball courts and a children's playground nearby. There are a few restaurants and a local supermarket within a five-minute drive, as well as The Christina Lake Golf Club and Cascade Par 3 golf course. There is also convenient access nearby onto The Trans Canada Trail, Dewdney Trail, and the Kettle Valley Railway Trail for hiking and biking. Grand Forks is about 15 minutes away with more cafes, restaurants, and supermarkets. Things to know: Private dock on the lake. Please note that the walk to the lake is not accessible for people with limited mobility. It's an uneven dirt pathway downhill through the forest. It's not paved and it's a 10-15 minute walk.

Stayed there while working, great place. Lots of room, very clean, kitchen dishes etc. well supplied, stayed in master room and the beds was very comfortable.
Lovely stay, nice view and very clean. Not waterfront though.Great location, quiet, private and a private dock after a short hike down hill and crossing a street, we did not use it because it was easier to launch the kayaks at another location.Still we really enjoyed our stay.

Great Birthday Getaway!
My friends and I went here to celebrate my birthday and it did not disappoint! Great location, very clean, well stoked and the fire pit was a nice bonus!
This property is exactly as described. The house was spotlessly clean and well appointed. The last 15’ to the dock is definitely not recommended for people with mobility issues. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.
This was a beautiful property. Very clean and the house was spacious. The doc could have used a clean it was quite dirty, and a stand up fan could have been nice for the room upstairs as it was very very hot. Other then that it was a pleasant stay no real big concerns :)
Overall really good. Yes yard needs some work but overall fine. Yes a bit of walk to lake but not that bad. Only con we could find was that there were no oven mitts for kitchen :)

Liked: Cleanliness
Disliked: Check-in, listing accuracy
Nice but there were issues
A nice home but there were issues:
- we were provided the wrong entry code so it was a very slow and frustrating check-in
- the final few steps to the warf were very dangerous / no steps at all
- not enough bath towels, toilet paper and garbage bags. We would have brought some had we known in advance
- no clear recycling instructions
- no broom
- no fan in upstairs bedroom where it was hot

Thank you, Steve, for your feedback! We are happy you enjoyed this home. We sincerely apologize for the door code issues you have encountered during your stay. We will continue to work with both our local staff and homeowner to make improvements to this home, and we hope you'll give us a second chance to impress you!
The cabin was lovely. The view spectacular. The access to trails and the lake, excellent. However we did have a couple of issues. The barbecue grease pan had obviously not been cleaned as it caught on fire when we tried to light the barbecue. Secondly, I think it was mentioned in past reviews that although access to a washer and dryer is advertised in the listing, they are actually behind a locked door. Lastly, the tv is an Apple TV which requires either an apple account and/ or purchase of a show from iTunes. We realize this probably isn’t much of an issue during the summer, but on a rainy November weekend, it would be kind of nice to watch a movie or something .
Might be a nice place inside, but we never got to go in!
We rented this place via VBRO for 5 nights. With confirmation email in hand, we drove 9+ hours to the door of the property, only to find out that our reservation was never transferred from VBRO to VACASA, who actually is the rental management. Save yourself the trouble and rent directly from VACASA.

Great Quiet Cabin
Great quiet location, close to town but away up in the woods. About a 10 min hike down to the lake. Bike trails nearby.

Great Summer Retreat!
Ike’s home on Christina Lake is a great family retreat! The house is set up for families, with everything you need. Although there is a little hike to the dock it is a nice trail down where the kids can play and you can tie up your boat for the week.
Parking for 4 might be a bit tight, but we managed a boat trailer and two pickups. The yard is a work in progress but it doesn’t matter because the lake view from the deck is beautiful!
We definitely hope to visit again!

Christina lake, Vacasa, Ikes retreat
Modern, spacious, private and fairly clean cottage. Kitchen needs some attention: broken garbage can and older pots and pans some need replacement.
Path to dock below road is dangerous for slipping, also poison ivy beside ramp.
Excellent swimming from the dock.
Wifi was slow.

Great Space
Beautiful home, enough space, loved the outdoors for BBQ, relaxing on the deck and open firepit
Great property. Beautiful setting. Even though a business trip we thoroughly enjoyed the home.
Had some trouble unlocking from door and still haven't received a call back from property manager. Other than that we would 100% stay here again,
