Located in the heart of Plaka, on the quiet pedestrian street of Galanou, this extraordinary 500 sqm (5,380 sq ft) neoclassical residence offers a rare blend of history, privacy, luxury, and authentic Athenian living — all centered around breathtaking views of the Acropolis.

This remarkable 18th-century building, fully renovated in 1980, 2000, and 2026, unfolds across four levels (ground floor, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floor), all connected by both an internal staircase and elevator, ensuring comfort and accessibility throughout your stay.

The estate features 7 bedrooms and accommodates up to 19 guests, making it ideal for families, groups of friends, or special gatherings.

On the ground floor, you will find three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The first floor hosts two additional bedrooms, two bathrooms, and one WC. The second floor includes a spacious living area with a sofa bed and a bathroom, while the third floor offers an additional bedroom that can comfortably accommodate up to four guests.

What truly sets this home apart is its unique interior design identity. The space has been carefully curated to blend classical Athenian elegance with refined contemporary lines, creating an atmosphere that feels both grand and inviting. Every detail — from materials and textures to furniture and lighting — has been thoughtfully selected to deliver a sense of harmony, sophistication, and timeless style.

The artworks throughout the home are original creations by a Greek artist, reinterpreting iconic Renaissance paintings inspired by Ancient Greece through a modern, linear aesthetic. This creates a distinctive dialogue between Renaissance art and ancient Greek heritage, perfectly aligned with the spirit of the house.

A defining element of the experience is that the Sacred Rock of the Acropolis follows you throughout the home. It is visible from the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floors, creating a rare and powerful connection to the city’s history — a view that never fades and elevates every moment of your stay.

The outdoor spaces further enhance this experience. On the ground floor, a fully private courtyard with lounge seating and shading offers a peaceful retreat. The first floor features a terrace with sun loungers, while the second floor includes a smaller balcony facing the Acropolis. At the top, a spacious rooftop terrace with two marble dining tables and uninterrupted, breathtaking views of the Acropolis sets the perfect stage for unforgettable moments.

The home includes 5 bathrooms and 1 WC (one with a bathtub, all others with walk-in showers), as well as a fully equipped kitchen featuring two ovens, six stovetops, a double refrigerator, water filtration system, Nespresso machine, French coffee maker, air fryer, and all essential appliances. Additional amenities include a turntable, high-quality sound system, and printer. The large dining table comfortably seats up to 20 guests, while the living area features a 90-inch TV and Starlink satellite internet.

Step outside, and you are instantly surrounded by history. Just 10 meters away, you will find Roman columns and the ruins of the ancient Temple of Artemis. Directly in front of the house stands the Church of Saint Catherine, while the famous Choragic Monument of Lysicrates (335 BC) is only 50 meters away. The Acropolis Museum is just 300 meters away, and the Temple of Olympian Zeus is only 150 meters from the property.

The entrance to the Acropolis is just 300 meters away, Syntagma Square is approximately an 8-minute walk, the metro station is 300 meters away, and private parking is also located 300 meters from the house. Daily housekeeping can be arranged upon request. Linen is changed every three days and towels every two days, ensuring a consistently high standard of comfort throughout your stay.

A €500 security deposit is required, which is fully refundable after check-out. This reflects the high-value furnishings, equipment, and carefully curated interior of the home.

Smoking is not permitted inside the property. However, it is allowed in all outdoor areas, including terraces, the courtyard, and the rooftop.

Private parking is available approximately 300 meters from the house, at an estimated cost of €35 per day. Please let us know in advance so we can arrange this for you.

The house features both an internal staircase and an elevator connecting all levels. For safety reasons, the elevator is not to be used by minors and is designed for use by one person at a time.

Heating is provided through natural gas throughout the property, while cooling is achieved via a heat pump system during the summer months. Hot water is supplied through natural gas with continuous flow, and an additional backup boiler system is in place to ensure uninterrupted availability at all times.

For your privacy and peace of mind, there are no cameras installed, either inside or outside the property, and no form of guest monitoring takes place.
