Thank you Tom and Art for this amazing place to spend with family and friends. We really enjoyed the new furniture in the living space. Will be booking again for next year.
Amazing, beautiful and spacious property that accommodated our family reunion of several generations. Lots of great memories were created. Thank you for sharing this property with us.
We had the pleasure of hosting our intimate wedding at the Victory Lodge this fall. It housed all of our guests and we were able to enjoy a beautiful wedding weekend amongst excellent scenery. Highly recommend.
My entire family stayed at the Victory Lodge to gather for our mother's 10 year memorial. It’s a magical place with everything you need. The kitchen is fully stocked, the view can’t be beat and gull lake is perfect. The kids discovered a rope swing at Gull Lake and hours were spent there. Few things we didn’t know before booking, there is a groundskeeper on site that checks in daily and there is no air conditioning.
Beautiful facility; however, Needed a few minor updates some bathroom doors were hard to lock; some toilets were not flushing properly; mattresses needed to be changed; seemed too old. Told Art property manager
We rented this lodge for my dad's 80th birthday party and family reunion. The pictures don't do it justice. This is a magical place for family gatherings. And Art the house manager is on point to your every need. Highly recommended.
Property is absolutely beautiful., pictures do not do it justice. There were 18 adults and 3 under 3. Art, the caretaker is amazing and was always there and prompt when we had questions. Perfect place for a big gathering, with beautiful scenery. Had the most wonderful Christmas/family reunion. Would definitely stay there again.
The photos do not do this properly justice. It was the perfect venue for our family gathering. We were there a week and could have stayed a month. The owner was wonderful to work with. Art, the property manager was amazing and very attentive. We all felt like he was part of the family by the end of our vacation.
June Mountain was only a few minutes from the house-perfect for the skiers in the group.
We were a small group of loss parents that attended for a grief retreat and it was absolutely the most perfect place. The views were breathtaking, the house was astounding, the property manager was sweet and there for anything we needed, and the owner is amazing! We’re so blessed to have been able to use this as a safe space to grieve our babies that we lost and to do some healing. It doesn’t get much better than this place.
Stayed with a group of friends and family, with roughly 10 children ranging from 0 to 9yrs old. The property manager was very helpful and responsive to any questions we had. The house itself was very impressive in regards to craftmanship, ammenties, and features. Everyone loved it. We have already booked another trip for 2024!
Absolutely amazing family reunion in a spectacular property and location! I couldn’t recommend it more highly for a big group. There was plenty of space for six couples—each with their own ensuite bathroom—plus a kids’ room. The home is incredibly spacious and packed with amenities. Highlights included the two full kitchens, two bars stocked for all your cold drinks, a dancing hall, a game room, and of course, the jaw-dropping view.Art, the caretaker, was the perfect host—quick to help when we needed something, yet completely unobtrusive when we just wanted to relax. Yes, it’s a bit pricey, but truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. If you’re on the fence, just know you and your guests will not be disappointed!
This was our third stay at VL. We were extremely impressed at how well-kept this property is, despite the harsh 2023 winter. The hospitality and communication from both the owner the caretaker were exceptional. For its size, the property is priced appropriately such that it's a very economical stay. I highly recommend co-living w fam & friends in this amazing property for your next stay in June. You will not regret the decision. We will be back!
Victory Lodge is a trophy property in June Lake that everyone should experience. The property is absolutely incredible. We had 10 adults and 10 kids for a ski getaway. People were pinching themselves as they walked through the property - like is this real. Every couple had a bedroom with en-suite bathroom. All the kids had beds. And we would do progressive dinners each night through the multiple rooms and bars in the house. On top of it, the property is about 1 mile away from June Mountain where kids 12 and under ski/ride for free. Absolutely incredible experience. It will be our pleasure to return again someday in the future.
The property is exactly as the photos show and as described. The description or check-in list/email should mention all the items the house has, so the guests know what to bring and not to bring. That aside, the caretaker, Art, is a fantastic person. He gave a great tour of the home, checked in on us, setup a bonfire for 2 nights, and even brought my wallet that I forgot to Bishop! He’s truly just a great guy and you can sense it. Otherwise, the property is sitting amongst the most gorgeous backdrop! The only other wish list item would be steps to the lake with a dock! :)
This home is so amazing! The quality of everything in the home was stunning. We had a bunch of kids and babies there and it was so easy because everything was high enough that little kids could not reach. The house was so clean! Not any dust anywhere! The view was like from a magazine!! Stunning sunrise and sunsets...The distance to June mountain was about 10 minutes and to Mammoth mountain was 30 min. Evan (the care taker) was so helpful and kind. He was easy to talk with and made the home immaculate for us to arrive to. He also was available when we texted him. We never had a hard time trying to get ahold of him for questions. We will definitely rent this cabin again! Thank you!
There is no place like The Victory Lodge. It truly is a magical place with everything you could ever need. We stayed with our whole family (20 people) and had plenty of room for alone time when we needed it. Art, the property manager was wonderful as well. This place and our vacation was one of the best we’ve had.
The house was beautiful and more than enough room to hold and entertain 18ppl. Lots of fun to be had there. There are a few things that need to be fixed(bbq, ice machines and screens on doors or windows) but overall amazing. Art was great!!
He was very helpful and accommodating.
Stayed with our family for our wedding amazing place housed all of us so nicely, had a ton of amenities we took advantage of including June lake catering and the massage room. Art was a tremendous help away available and extremely accommodating to our ever changing needs before and during our stay.
It is being referred to as once in a life time trip by our whole family.
