location of this property was good for Mke area- we liked that there was 2 on site parking spots -also you can park on street, a kind neighbor told us what side and how to get a free permit for overnight- we stayed 2 nights the upstairs was nice for a older house - the basement bedroom was unusable when we went to use it the rugs on the cement floor where wet and mold around all the baseboards -it had been raining but mold was also coming thru the paint around the room you could see it growing above the basebaord and water puddles on the cement areas - contacted host at 7 am about wet basement as we had the rest of family coming in for second night, nothing was done, received a call stating the owners don’t live locally and we should just stay upstairs so only 1/2 house was usable - so that evening we had to purchase a blow up mattress to sleep in living room- we contacted vrbo at 9 pm to let them know nothing was done about water issue - host made us feel very uncomfortable as if it was our fault 1/2 the house was unusable and they did nothing to help but got mad we contacted vrbo - also felt uncomfortable as only a couple windows open to get fresh air in from mildew and they don’t lock when closed - we could not use ceiling fans as they were covered in thick paste of dust it was actually hanging off along with cob webs - giving a honest review as a family that comes to Mke often we were looking for a place to come back too - sadly this was not the place -
