Tucked into a peaceful cove just 10 minutes from Bridgewater Plaza, enjoy a private double-deck dock, kayaks, paddleboard, and optional hot tub. Designed for families and friends, this spacious home offers four bedrooms, two living areas, and unforgettable lake views—the perfect place to relax, reconnect, and make lasting memories.

Perched above a peaceful cove on Smith Mountain Lake, The Scenic Overlook was created as a place where families and friends can slow down, reconnect, and enjoy everything lake life has to offer. Whether you're planning a summer vacation, celebrating a graduation, or gathering multiple generations under one roof, you'll find plenty of room to make memories together.

The lake is the centerpiece of every stay. Follow the wooded path to your private double-deck dock where you can swim, fish, launch the provided kayaks and paddleboard, or simply relax on the calmer water of the quiet cove. Bring your boat or jet skis and tie up at our floating dock, spend the afternoon on the water, then return home for dinner overlooking the lake.

Inside, the open-concept main level brings everyone together. The vaulted great room flows into the dining area and updated kitchen with granite countertops, full-size appliances, and a large island that naturally becomes the gathering place for breakfast, appetizers, and stories from the day's adventures.

Outside, you'll discover why we named this home The Scenic Overlook. Enjoy morning coffee on the covered deck, grill dinner with panoramic lake views, relax around the gas fire table, unwind on the wooden swing nestled among the trees, or soak beneath the stars in the optional seven-person hot tub.

With four comfortable bedrooms, three full bathrooms, two separate living areas, and a downstairs game space, everyone has room to spread out while still staying connected.

Guests also enjoy access to the seasonal community pool, tennis and pickleball courts, and community boat ramp. Bridgewater Plaza, restaurants, grocery stores, shopping, and boat rentals are approximately 10 minutes away.

Optional hot tub access is available for the duration of your stay for a $250 setup and servicing fee. Please request access before arrival so it can be prepared for your visit.
