Location
Situated in the extensive Luberon nature reserve, you can enjoy a wide choice of leisure activities without long journeys. For example, from the doorstep you can enjoy extensive hiking & cycling routes through the reserve, and you are right beside an excellent 18 hole golf course with restaurant (5 further 18 hole courses within an hour's drive), 4km from the historic village of Pierrevert with shops & restaurants, 5km to two highly regarded vineyards, just one hour from Europe's deepest gorge, the Gorge du Verdon, for rock-climbing, kayaking, white water rafting. In less than two hours, you can be in highly regarded ski resorts such as Barcelonette. There are many excellent restaurants within a 15 minute drive and Manosque, just 10 minutes away, features a charming old quarter with narrow streets and markets as well as shops and hypermarkets on the outskirts. The magnificent city of Aix-en-Provence is an easy 30 minute drive.
