This cabin is ideally suited to accommodate two adults with two to four children (Note: Groups including more than 2 adults require owner notification and approval prior to booking). The Mini-Moose Cabin is a recently renovated/upgraded cabin which backs up to the Gallatin National Forest on a quiet dead-end street and only 7 miles from the West Gate of Yellowstone National Park. The area has views of Lionshead Peak and the surrounding mountains of the Continental Divide, as well as the massive Doug Fir trees of the forest. It has 750 sq ft of living space, including 1 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom, Laundry Closet with stacked washer/dryer, Large Open Family Room/Dining Room, Kitchen plus over 300 sq ft of covered side and front porches to enjoy the beautiful outdoors! This cabin is ideally suited to accommodate two adults with two to four children.

Specific sleeping arrangements are as follows: MBR=Queen bed plus twin bunks, LR=Queen sleeper sofa

Decorated in a rustic mountain cabin theme with both new and antique furniture, fixtures and household items, the cabin features circle-sawn Douglas Fir flooring with knife-drawn edges, reclaimed barnwood wainscoting, knotty pine walls/and ceiling, wood burning stove, large windows throughout to enjoy the mountain and forest views, covered front and side porches, etc. And don`t let the size fool you - this is a VERY comfortable open-spaced cabin with some of the best mountain views in the area!

For large family or friend gatherings, we have other rental properties immediately adjacent to the Mini-Moose Cabin - e.g., the newly constructed Lazy Moose and Mountain View Lodges! If interested in renting one or more of these properties during the same calendar period, be sure to ask about our `Village` rates!

Also if interested, please ask about our referral arrangements, including horseback riding, trout fishing, hunting and snowmobiling.

Lastly, if you notice a gap in our calendar between existing bookings which is less than our minimum number of night stay requirement and are interested in renting within that `gap`, please contact us and we`ll do our best to accommodate your request.

This is a full-access home rental so all areas of the home are open to our guests.

We are available 7x24 during your stay in the event you have an urgent issue that needs resolving.

Our home is located in the Lazy Acres subdivision which is only 9 miles via Targhee Pass highway to West Yellowstone and the West Gate to Yellowstone National Park. West Yellowstone has grocery stores, drug stores, restaurants, bars, service stations, theaters, fitness centers, laundries, firewood, etc for our guests` convenience. The Mini-Moose Cabin backs up to the Gallatin National Forest which provides both privacy and views into the forest!

Limited public transportation is available so a vehicle is needed - preferably a front wheel or four wheel drive if renting during the winter season.

If bringing a pet, contact Owner for approval prior to booking and, if approved, will incur an additional $100 pet fee.

Our home is in full-compliance with local fire, health (including Covid-19 cleaning guidelines) and taxing requirements - including necessary permits.
