Long weekend getaway

Great property! 1 block from the bay, 5 blocks from the beach! Our family just loved it! Plenty of room and beds for everyone!

The location was great. Very close to the beach and bay. Lots of room for everyone. The kitchens could use updated kitchen wear. There was not much kitchen wear which made it challenging a bit. The outdoor lights in the backyard did not work. Great location but could use some updates and could be a little cleaner.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback! We’re thrilled you loved the great location so close to the beach and bay and that the home offered plenty of space for your group. When you reached out about the backyard lights, we were glad we could send someone out right away to walk through how to turn them on and get everything lit up for you. Regarding your other notes, while issues about the kitchenware and cleanliness were not raised during your stay, we take them very seriously. We already talked to the owner about it. Thank you again for your helpful notes, and we’d love to welcome you back anytime!

Great space inside and out for a large group. We used one living room as a bedroom and the other had plenty of room for us all to hang out. We enjoyed both outdoor areas too and the beach equipment. We had some issues with linen on check in and staff responded quickly to our phone call. We had resolution quickly that did not interrupt our plans!! Thanks for sharing this space for some wonderful memories!

So happy to hear your group made some wonderful memories here! Using the extra living room as a bedroom was super clever, and it's awesome that everyone had plenty of room to stretch out both inside and outside. Big groups can be tricky, so it's great that the space and beach gear worked out so well for you all! Also, major appreciate your patience with the mix-up on the linens—we’re always on standby to fix things fast so you can get right back to enjoying your vacation. Hope to have you and the crew back again for another great getaway

House was two sections, basically mirrored with full kitchens, living rooms, outdoor social spaces, etc. since we had 9, opened up both which was great(!), because the kids could hang in one half while the adults in the other. Outdoor social spaces were fantastic, with plenty of propane for the fire tables and grills. As advertised, great amenities. Felt safe, and of course, location location. It is a hundred yards from Mission Bay, and maybe 5-6 blocks to the beach, so the provided cart was handy. We’re already talking about rebooking this property!

Thank you so much for this amazing, thoughtful review! We are so happy to hear that the layout worked out so perfectly for your group—having separate spaces for the adults and kids to relax is such a game-changer for a family trip! It’s great to know you were able to fully enjoy the outdoor social areas, fire tables, and amenities, and that the beach cart came in handy for those short trips over to Mission Bay and the beach. Knowing that your group felt safe and had a comfortable, fun stay truly means the world to us. You were absolute dream guests to host, and hearing that you’re already talking about coming back is the highest compliment we could receive! We would love to welcome you all back anytime for another wonderful getaway!

Loved the close location to the water. Property was very accommodating with plenty of parking, great outdoor spaces, kitchen was well stocked and greatly appreciated the beach equipment ie. chairs, towels, sand toys and even a wagon to tote all to the beach.

HI. The "host" was great. Friendly and accommodating when we called. The home needs some TLC. Location is great - front yard space is amazing.

Bay or Beach nearby

Great location for our family stay. Nice to have parking available, as well as plenty of space for everyone. Nice walks along the bay and the beach. If you plan to use the couches to sleep on - you will need to ask for additional bed linens, or bring your own. Hope to return

The house was very clean and all items/furniture in house were nice/comfortable. The two outdoor areas were perfect for playing games, relaxing, and hanging out with family. They had many outdoor games that were in great shape. We enjoyed the corn hole immensely. The bay beach and boardwalk was right across the street. The Ocean beach and boardwalk were only a couple blocks away. Ralph’s grocery store was within walking distance. It was the perfect location. We loved it and can’t wait to come back.

Thank you, Adrienne! We’re happy to know you enjoyed the outdoor spaces, games, and comfortable furnishings throughout the home. Sounds like the corn hole games were a hit 😊. We also love how convenient the location is with both the bay and ocean nearby, plus easy access to shops and groceries. We’re so happy your family had such a great stay and can’t wait to welcome you back again!

We had a great time at this home in Pacific Beach. The location was convenient and the parking was ample. There was plenty of space so that we never felt like we were on top of each other. My only recommendation would be to add a foldable room screen for the 4th sleeping area allowing for dressing and bathroom privacy.

The location is great, close to the bay, beaches and restaurants. The property is spacious and clean, plenty of parking and outdoor lounges, the kitchens and bathrooms look recently renovated. The family room in the back of the house is large enough to accommodate a big family gathering. The one critique: the 3rd bedroom has no privacy as it is located in a thru way between the front and back of the house.
