Our second year staying and looking forward to returning! Can’t beat the proximity to the beach and restaurants, plus the pool is an added bonus. They have all the beach gear you need.

We were thrilled with our stay at the beach house. The location is unbeatable, literally a half a block from the park right in front of the beach. It's almost as close to go back to the house to go to the bathroom as it is to the spot at the beach itself. Extremely short walk to a commercial strip with a great little market with everything you could possibly need. The house had a bunch of helpful things for the beach that we weren't aware of before - a few boogie boards, a bunch of beach chairs (that the host called me about when I had messaged before), a few umbrellas in various states of functionality, etc. The pool is a great perk, perfect for a lap swimmer or just cooling off during the day. And the view from the balcony on top is incredible. We would gladly come back.

Such a great trip! The location is ideal. Walking distance to the beach and more than enough restaurants. The home was great for family time in so many different ways. Communication with Todd was always so quick and efficient. Can’t wait to come back!

What an amazing, beautiful and unusual house in a fantastic location! We were able to walk everywhere. The beach was so close. The lap pool was an added bonus.

For all the reasons we chose this place, every single one of them was beyond met!! The location was outstanding. You cannot beat the the 2 minute walk to a beautiful beach and ocean. The home was gorgeous, comfortable and you just felt like it was yours for the time we were there. Just fun to sit outside, The view of the sunset from the top deck was breathtaking. What a great area to go for a walk and we loved the village area of little shops and the choices of restaurants (and all within a 5 minute walk!) . Dough Mamma's Pizza is the best!! Thank you Peter and Todd for checking in with us to make sure all was well while we were there.

Wonderful stay!

The cottage is so great. Location is perfect for young kids access to La Jolla shores, had a blast in the pool as well. Parking on site was easy. We will be back.

Great La Jolla Shores Vacation Home

We stayed at Dove Cottage for 3 weeks and we were very happy there. Great location, lots of space and the lap pool was a plus. Cheryl was great to work with and the property was as advertised. We will stay there next time we visit La Jolla.

Great stay for a family

Thanks for hosting us. We had a wonderful time. The home was very comfortable, clean and great to be so close to the beach, shops and restaurants. The beach chairs, boogie boards and sand toys were a great touch and made our trips to the beach very comfortable. This home was truly the highlight of our trip.

Great house and location

Our family of 7 had a wonderful trip to La Jolla Shores. The home is cleverly laid out to give everyone their own space. The pool, while not huge, was a great addition for the kids. The location couldn’t be better, steps from the park and beach. The owner was easy to interact with and helped with questions throughout our stay. Overall, a great house in the perfect location.

We had a wonderful time in La Jolla shores. We loved the home which was so comfortable, had everything we needed, and located in a perfect location just steps away from the beach, restaurants, shops, etc. My sons really enjoyed the pool. We hope to be back in the future!

The best time at Dove Cottage

We had a great time and experience! The property was perfect for a spring break for our family of 5. Property manager was fantastic, responsive and provided all the information we needed. The home itself was perfect. Everything we needed to enjoy our time at the beach and beyond was provided. Highly recommend booking this property if you are looking for a clean, cozy, and stunning location for a La Jolla beach stay.

Beach Life !

Amazing stay in La Jolla for spring break with the family. Kids loved the beach and park. Perfect setup for kid boogie boarding. The location is near perfect, easy walking distance to great options for food, and the beach and park are basically in the backyard. Caretaker was responsive, professional and very helpful, we will be back!

WE LOVED THE DOVE COTTAGE!!

This is such a well-loved property. We had great rapport and communication with Cheryl the manager. We loved how warm and cozy the decor was and over all feel of the house. We loved the pool at the end of a beach day and we enjoyed the pics of the family members who have also loved this sweet place.
