La Jolla Beach House. 2 Minute Walk to the Beach!

Located in the coveted Beach-Barber Tract neighborhood just down the street from the world famous Windansea Beach, this home was completely re-modeled in 2018. Hear the waves and feel the ocean breezes from this handsome Tudor-style home. Ocean view from the master suite and office. Only a 2-minute walk to the beach!

House Rules

- No parties allowed.
- No smoking allowed.
- No unregistered guests allowed.
- Please don’t eat or drink in the bedrooms.
- Please respect the noise curfew. (10 pm to 7 am quiet time)
- Please respect check in and check out times.
- Please take care of the furnishings.
- No illegal substances allowed on the premises.

Checking Out

- Checking out at 11am please
- Turn off AC, lights, and small appliances.
- Close the windows and lock all doors (from the outside press the Schlage logo)
- Please place used dishes in the dishwasher (no need to start it)
- Check for valuables and chargers.
- Notify us of your departure.

The owner, Dennis, occasionally stays in his separate apartment located in the backyard, which has its own entrance. If you happen to see him, please feel free to say hello. He might also need to park in the driveway to charge his Tesla.

Nice roomy house, close to the beach, and walking distance to downtown La Jolla. Lots of games and fun things to do in the house. High quality linens and towels. Lots of kitchen gadgets. And so nice to have a wagon to take all the towels, chairs, and beach toys!

Great House & Amazing Location

I took my kids to La Jolla for spring break and had a great trip. The house set-up well for us...everyone had their own bedroom and plenty of space to relax. The house is in an amazing location. It's a couple blocks from the beach, a short walk to downtown La Jolla and has other restaurants and shops nearby. We'll definitely stay there again!

Great place to stay

From the initial communication with the owner/host all the way through check out was a great experience and if I have a rental need in that area again I will be reaching out to book this place again. The house was clean and ready for early check in which was much appreciated and everything worked well in the home with no issues. This vacation home had everything my client needed for their 1 week stay.

Beautiful & comfy

This was a girl's trip with 5 friends. The home was absolutely perfect for our group. Plenty of space, comfy beds, games and nice and quiet. The kitchen was filled stocked. We also loved that it was centrally located and an easy 2 minute walk down to the beach. Perform.

Great location. and wonderful property, however the house said it sleeps 10 we had 8 and there were not enough bath towels for the 8 people and we had to resort to a couple of us using beach towels. The other thing and it may have been more our issue, was the AC would turn off after a while and we had to keep resetting it. We set it to 72 and then later in the day it would be at 75 or 76 and the house was too warm or it would shut off at night and get warm upstairs. But overall the property was great. just a couple of minor issues.

Needs some work

I will start off with the benefits of this house: The location is absolutely fantastic. The walk to the beach is super easy and the beach is stunning. We were also able to get to many places to eat, shop, and have fun very quickly. The upstairs bedrooms were roomy and clean with plenty of places for everyone to sleep. The pool table/ping pong table were really fun to have.The cons: Every piece of soft surface in the living and dining spaces is really worn and stained. The throw pillows on the couch had stains on them, the chair cushions at the dining table were stained and torn, the upholstered chairs in the pool room are peeling and you can hardly sit on them. The outdoor spaces were a mess. There is clutter everywhere, all cushions were mildewed or stained, the seats in the backyard were blown all over the place. Also, the kitchen needs some attention. It is stocked with a lot of things that are nice to have, like oils and spices, but the cabinets are so cluttered and unorganized. I could not find the top half of the blender we found so we were never able to use it, as an example.Overall, we were pleased with the location but the house needs some attention to make it represent the description.
