This Ocean-front home is located in one of the most beautiful beach communities in Southern California, La Jolla Shores.

Boasting nearly 3,000 square feet of living space that features 4 bedrooms, 3 full baths, a fully stocked kitchen with all SS appliances, featuring a Dacor 6-burner stovetop, a double oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, and pantry. Enjoy views of the Pacific ocean while preparing meals in the kitchen, or while enjoying a meal in the dining room. Enjoy the view from the bistro table off the kitchen which looks out across the living room to the large deck overlooking the ocean.
There is one bedroom and full bath located on this level of the house.
The lower level of the house has 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths, a laundry room, and an outdoor small heated, jetted, pool with mini grotto, swim up bar and 2 expansive outdoor decks. Experience beach living as it is known.

This fully furnished home is directly across from Kellogg Park and a 3 block walk to restaurants, shops, La Jolla Beach & Tennis Club and so much more. The village has several fine dining restaurants as well as ample casual eateries, shops, and galleries. Soak in the La Jolla sun with local surf and stand up paddle boarding lessons, a kayak tour of the La Jolla Caves as well as snorkel, sailing and jet skiing adventures. La Jolla shores is the best beach for walking, surfing, swimming and kayaking. You need only bring your beach clothes and evening attire.

Load and start the dishwasher

Strip any used beds, gather used towels and store extra beds

Remove personal items and take out the rubbish

Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys

Check out is 11:00am, in consideration of our future guests and our cleaning crews. Please lock the house and return keys to the bowl on the the living room counter by the television.

Kindly turn off pool heater, heating &/or A/C, lights and any appliances. Please keep house in the same manner you found it. It isn't necessary but appreciated if you could start a load of towels.

Otherwise, please throw towels in the laundry basket, so our cleaning crew can easily locate them. We thank you in advance for your assistance with the Check Out Policy.

This is a lovely home in a terrific location in San Diego area. Across from a public beach, the house still afforded privacy and quiet. Walkable to La Jolla Shores restaurants and short ride to La Jolla proper. Easy access to freeway to get to other San Diego points of interest. Hosts highly accessible and responsive.

The location was incredible! A quick walk to the beautiful beach. But the house itself was a bit disappointing. The carpets were stained, and the fountain wasn't working in the pool, which was a disappointment for our grandkids. The place seemed a little tired, and in need of some cosmetic fixes.

Hello Diane, Thank you for your feed back regarding our Oceanfront vacation rental in La Jolla Shores. As explained in your check-in instructions, the waterfall feature was disconnected due to the amount of noise it makes when running. Neighbors complained about the noise of the waterfall. In order for us to not jeopardize our license to rent this vacation rental, we had no choice but to disconnect the waterfall. The only place i saw a stain on the living room carpet is the area where you walk out of the kitchen onto the carpet. Not all guests are careful, or thoughtful, to wipe up when they spill on the carpet, even though there are ample cleaning supplies located in the laundry room for accidents. We have been waiting to clean the carpet, but we have had no 3-day continuous openings between guests to allow ample time for the carpet to dry. And we try to accommodate those guests, as yourself, who want an earlier check-in.

Beautiful home- great location, loved the grotto pool and ocean views. Host was easy to communicate with, responded quickly to our questions. Many extras available for use- childrens items, beach items, cooking spices n pans, etc only minor criticism- may need to update couch n upstairs mattress soon. Highly recommend.

If you love being by the beach, you will love it. Along with the beach being right there is you will deal with a lot of traffic, I mean a lot!! The side streets are hard to get down to make your way out of the area because this is one very popular beach. If you go down town where the shops and restaurants are don’t be in a hurry, it’s hard to find parking . The restaurants are wonderful, the climate is perfect.The house needs some new furniture inside and out and the cook ware definitely needs to be replaced and well the carpet needs some cleaning, I get that there is people there all the time renting but at some point you have to make time for that , it’s just not very inviting. People can be careless with food and drinks which I don’t understand when you are at someone’s house it should be treated with respect. The one bedroom upstairs has absolutely no where to put your clothes . The little kitchen was very nice and the living area was spacious. I don’t mean to sound negative, I’ve just have rented a lot of places and was a little disappointed, did it ruin my vacation absolutely not.

Overall, we had an excellent stay. This was our favorite property by far (and we come every year). I felt the interior was nicer than the photos, which usually doesn't happen! The location cannot be beat and the breeze inside felt amazing. My only complaint was that we were not allowed to turn on the waterfall in the spa, which was the main reason I chose this property over one with just a lap pool.

Noel is a native of San Diego & Linda migrated to San Diego in 1978. Both have had long careers in the real estate industry. They own and manage several rental properties throughout San Diego, La Jolla, and Del Mar, with this property being one of seven vacation rental homes.
We pride ourselves being hands-on owner/managers. We try to do our best to accommodate our guests.
We live close to the property, and have a full-time maintenance person available to handle any unforeseen situation that may arise during your visit.
When we decided to offer vacation homes we made a conscience effort to stock our home completely, from the kitchen to the linens, to the beach and recreational equipment. We wanted our guests to be able to not have to worry about packing extra linens, bicycles, beach chairs, etc.

Why they chose this property

We purchased this particular home in the community of La Jolla Shores because of its ocean-front location. We felt the size, location, proximity to the water, and fabulous ocean views would make this home a great vacation rental for families wanting to spend time at one of the most beautiful beaches in San Diego. You have walkability to the quaint village of La Jolla Shores to shop, dine, rent sporting equipment, or grab a frozen yogurt on a hot day. We are also only a five-minute ride to downtown La Jolla. There is a multitude of things to do in the area from water sports, golfing at Torrey Pines, visiting the Birch Aquarium, or just relaxing at the beach.

What makes this property unique

You are staying in an ocean-front home. When you pull up to the house you will pinch yourself because you cannot believe how close you are to the beach. It is literally across the street from La Jolla Shores Beach, one of the cleanest and most beautiful beaches in San Diego. Sit in the living room, dining room, kitchen, or on the extra large deck just outside the living room to enjoy the ocean views and beautiful sunsets. Enjoy a leisurely walk up the beach and take in the smells of the fresh ocean air while you get your daily exercise. Or stroll into the village of La Jolla Shores and grab a coffee to start your day. Guests enjoy a bike ride with one of the bikes provided for your use.
You cannot beat this location if you come to San Diego to enjoy the beach.
