Located steps away from San Diego's top Tourmaline surf break, bring your surf board. If a beautiful view and a private home is what you are looking for, this is it! A perfect beach house that is located between La Jolla and Mission Beach. A newly decorated home that is located near everything a beach community has to offer. Spectacular sunset vistas from Mission Beach to the south, north to La Jolla. The home has an attached two bedroom upstairs unit built towards the back of the home. The properties were built with vacation rentals in mind. GUESTS ARE PROVIDED WITH PRIVATE living space yard space, decks, beach equipment (bicycles, surfboards, boogie boards, chairs, etc.), parking spaces, washer/dryers and barbecues.

Can't say enough good things about this property. Great location, well stocked, very clean and comfortable. Mary was a gem. Genuine and warm, she answered all our questions and more. We wanted for nothing during our stay. I wish every property we stayed at was of this quality. Absolutely superb.

Great location & perfect home for our group!

Our family of 6 really enjoyed our stay in this spacious home with fabulous ocean views & just steps from the beach! It was a short drive to visit Sea World, & to go kayaking in the bay, & on a para sailing adventure. The kids ages 12 & 8 also took surfing lessons at Pacific Beach near the house. We definitely want to vacation here again!

Spring break

The house was perfect for our family of 5. The location was perfect, steps away from the beach. The house was very clean and comfortable. The property manager was fantastic when we reached out with any questions. Would highly recommend.

Excellent vacation home

This is the second time we have stayed at this property. The location is amazing. Great views and walkable to numerous restaurants. Loved that we could also utilize the garage for our car. Home has everything you need for enjoying the beach - towels, chairs, toys, bikes, etc

Great week

We had a wonderful week here. From the check in process to the check out, everything was just what we’d hoped for, for our beach vacation. Special thx to Mary who was so much fun, and so helpful. We couldn’t have asked for better. This house is large and spacious with lots of windows and a perfect view of sunset every evening This may not be the best property for kids, there are a large number of breakables as part of the decor. A definite thumbs up.

Such a peaceful stay

Yearly trip to the beach with friends. Perfect spot for watching surfers, kite surfers, waves and beautiful sunsets. Love how close to the beach this house is and it has everything you need for a perfect beach day.(coolers, chairs, mats, towels, umbrellas and beach toys galore!) This rental was definitely the best equipped home we have ever stayed which made the week even better. Mary was amazing! So responsive and took care of all our needs! Love this home and would love to return.

San Diego Vacation

Excellent property, view and location. Clean and again beautiful. Management was fantastic with special thanks to Mary, Gina and the owner. Staff went above and beyond. When the air conditioning went out, a portable AC unit was provided (although not needed) and repairs to main unit promptly made. And owner provided a mattress topper for my elderly mother-in-law. Highly recommend. We plan to stay here again in the future.

Waves & Smile For Miles!

The property was very nice, the view spectacular and the entire reservation and check-in process was smooth and painless. Very friendly hosts and great amenities. Couldn't have asked for more, great experience overall. The house is at the end of a dead-end which is a lookout point for watching surfers and sunsets. Although it does get quite a bit of traffic throughout the day and up until sunset, we enjoyed people watching along with watching the surfers and wildliife. The PB pier is within walking distance and many choices for coffee shops, breakfast, lunch, dinner and even night life. Great stay!

Wow!

All I can say is, “Wow!”. You can’t beat the amazing ocean views from this place and literally steps from the beach. We even got to see dolphins! The location was perfect to watch the sunsets, take a stroll on the beach or walk to one of the great nearby restaurants. The house was equally as great . It was very roomy, comfortable, had everything you could possibly need and Mary, the property manager, was very attentive and ready to assist in anyway possible. The beds had new mattresses and were so comfortable. The garage was well stocked with beach gear too! Couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend our son’s birthday weekend!

House worked out great for our group of 3 couples. Location is perfect for the area - very convenient to all the activity in Pacific Beach (walk or short Uber) and close to La Jolla shops/restaurants (short Uber). Directly across the street from beach great views of surfing/kiteboarding activity, but still peaceful-a few blocks away from all the PB energy. House itself is nice/comfortable for 3 couples; outfitted with everything you need, including beach cruiser bikes with locks, beach equipment, etc. Manager - Mary - is very service-oriented/helpful and responsive. Would highly recommend.

Wonderful Vacation Home, Awesome View

My family of 4 adults and a 14 yr old had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Pacific Beach home. I'm saying "home" because that's exactly what it felt like! We were amazed at how welcoming and comfortable it was from the moment we walked in the door. It was spacious enough the we each had our own "favorite spot". And the magnificent view made it really hard to leave for sightseeing. In fact, one day we just stayed in! Gina was excellent at taking care of the details. Mary was attentive and made herself available for anything we needed. She was like our new best friend! Plus we had the pleasure of meeting the owner James when he stopped by to take care of something as we were leaving out one day. Everyone was thoughtful and attentive without being intrusive. The view was spectacular!! We enjoyed watching the surfers, people-watching from the porch and riding the bikes down the boardwalk. We were close enough to enjoy the restaurants and beach vibe yet in a peaceful, relaxed neighborhood. We all agreed that we'll be back!!

Spectacular location, Dated property

We truly enjoyed this property's excellent location, off-street parking, and spectacular oceanfront views. The inclement weather during our stay didn't allow us to take advantage of the outside patio, but the gas grill was a plus. The house is very spacious and the well-appointed kitchen set-up allowed for "many cooks". Property manager Mary met us on arrival, checked in on us the next morning, and was very attentive to our requests throughout our stay. Now for the downside - our party consisted of five adults (two couples and a single). The house has wonderfully spacious common gathering areas, but is better suited to two couples and a child or two due to the bedroom set-up. The third bedroom is small and extremely cramped, with two beds, one of which is pushed up against the closet. The third bathroom is across the hall and also very cramped, with a small shower stall and pedestal sink (no vanity). It appears that the primary master ensuite bath has been nicely remodeled, but the other ensuite and the hall bath need to be updated. The house is definitely showing its age and is a bit banged up. Exterior metal doors don't close properly, hardwood floors near the entry doors are water-stained, and walls and baseboards need some patching and fresh paint. To be fair, we may not have noticed so many of the cosmetic flaws had we been able to spend more time enjoying the outdoor areas, but other guests may have the same impression.

Fall Contentment

Five of us stayed at this magical house for 4 nights for a family reunion. We LOVED it! It has: a wonderful ocean view in a quiet neighborhood, a great layout, comfortable sitting, beautiful decor, a welcoming courtyard, a front (though narrow) porch area for watching the waves and sunsets, and an INCREDIBLBE array of recreation toys: all sizes of beach cruisers w/helmets, strollers, boogie boards, beach chairs, umbrellas, sand toys, beach towels... and beach access (down many steep stairs, not good for elderly) This is not to say the house was perfectly pristine. If you are VERY picky about tiny things you can find "less than perfect" blemishes: light switches that don't work, a few older window screens that are salt-corroded and pushing out, a misaligned kitchen cabinet door, low shower heads, a front screen door that is difficult to open, and the need for extra bath towels and door hooks. (Also NOTE: the 180° ocean view is beautiful and unobstructed to the south, but has an unsightly power pole at its northern angle) But for us, the alarm system was most annoying. It announced EVERY time - to the whole house in a loud robot voice - which door or window was opening. (Though safe, we felt on house arrest at night (or early morning) when we wanted to go outside or open a window but didn't want to wake up those still sleeping!) However, these are small, slightly annoying things and shouldn't be deal breakers even in the least. It IS a magical house and I highly recommend.

We had a wonderful multi-family visit. The view was incredible, the garage stocked with bikes/strollers/ice chests/chairs and more! The location is a short walk to a myriad of restaurants, bars and shops! The rooms are spacious and the family/front room has the best of both worlds with a quieter TV room for those who want to watch sports or movies without harshing the mellow of those in the front room with the expansive view. Extra freezer and fridge in the garage a huge bonus. Mary and Gina were great to work with. Looking forward to staying again!

I read a lot of reviews for this property before booking and noticed many travelers had stayed multiple times. I can see why! It was one of our favorite VRBOs! Great location within walking distance to shopping, restaurants, etc. Easy access to the beach and water. Well laid out floor plan with abundant and comfortable furnishings. Friendly and responsive communication with the property manager. Would definitely book this home again!

This property was absolutely gorgeous and the manager was the most gracious host I've encountered with a vacation rental. Mary walked us through and made sure we had everything we could possibly need. She was available the entire stay if we needed anything, which we didn't! The beach supplies and kitchen are totally stocked with everything. Overall, this was the best stay ever for a wonderful family vacation, and we would love to stay again someday!
