Nice cottage, but quite dated. Very clean. Outside updating needed. Old unused outbuildings need to be removed. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Great location!!!! Sleeping Bear Dunes Alligator Hill trails access directly across the street (thank you Tammy!); 6 min from Glen Arbor; awesome lake, dock and grass/sand beach, beautiful views from higher view patio. The house was clean and had everything we needed - great towels and ample bedding. It's dated so you feel like you're at a 60s/70s cottage but it's spacious and has great views. The outside of house, out buildings and landscaping need attention. Hopefully someone tries to keep it up a bit better as it's an awesome place for a vacation. We enjoyed it and our dogs had a blast!

The pictures shown on the website were misleading. The furniture was shabby. Old kitchen cupboards. Small bedrooms and damp bedding.The living room was very small. The house was damp and although the host later said she could turn on the air conditioning it would not help the dankness. The front door was broken and would not stay shut. The bathrooms were old. This rental has not been updated since it was probably built in the 60's or 70's. What you are paying for is the location. We could not stay even one night as my partner started getting a headache. We later asked for at least a partial refund which was refused. I would not recommend this rental.
