If you’re looking for a quiet beach community and an island lifestyle than you’re at the right place. The unit is decorated in island style with a king size comfortable bed, flat screen TVs in the living room and bedroom, and a fully equipped kitchen. What’s really nice is at Lido you can park your car and walk (or bike) as everything you need is nearby. It’s not uncommon for our guests to Uber in for the week.
Like the outdoors? Lido has parks on the north and south end and the kayak park is two blocks away. The beach is a block away and we provide beach chairs, umbrella, and cooler.
Hungry? It’s a 5 minute walk to famous St. Armand’s Circle with 15+ restaurants and upscale boutique shopping. Our favorite spots are at Tommy Bahamas restaurant watching the crowds go by while sipping a martini or on the patio at the Columbia with a pitcher of cava sangria made table side.
Night on the town? Enjoy beautiful downtown Sarasota’s fine dining, theater, opera, ballet, art galleries, antique shops, and museums or just pass the time while strolling the shops of downtown Sarasota. Longboat key and Siesta Key are minutes away.
Linens, towels, beach chairs, umbrella, and cooler provided – just bring your toothbrush! If you forgot it – ask! We probably have it.
And if you have to work (ugh!) there's free Wifi and a small desk in the unit.
You name it and its nearby - golf, beach, bike, boat, sailing, some of the best fishing, fishing charters, aquariums, museums, shopping, wind surfing, kite boarding, swimming, great walking areas, theaters, opera, and on and on.

We are Chris & Jan and we have lived on laid back Lido Key since 2013 and owned on Lido even longer. Both of us are retired (Chris recently - yahoo!) and as we say we are "living the dream" on Lido.
Jan's a retired banker from Maple Shade, NJ which is where we met in 2000. At that time she did not know I would become the way for her to move to Florida away from the snow and ice of winters. We've been together ever since. She's also the brains of our rentals.
I’m a Florida native that grew up in South Florida beaches and have lived all over the state. I'm retired after having worked as a Sales & Marketing Executive seemingly spending more time on planes and in hotels around the world that at home over the past 20 years. I'm pretty handy and handle the maintenance.
We've been so fortunate to have made so many friends with people that have rented from us and many come back year after year.

Why they chose this property
No place better than Lido. This is a small complex of 10 condos that's quiet and convenient. Lido Key is located on a laid back barrier island close to trendy and vibrant downtown Sarasota on the west coast of Florida. The area is known for great beaches, good food, outdoor activities, local attractions and lots of sunshine. We are centrally located on Lido Key a block to the beach and short walk to St. Armand's Circle for boutique shopping and outdoor seating restaurants. Downtown is minutes away.

Small beach community with easy access to the great beach, restaurants, arts, and sites in Sarasota. Welcome to our island and we hope you enjoy your stay. We are Chris & Jan owner operators of Vacation Rentals on Lido. We have lived on Lido Key since 2013 and are truly "Living the Dream". Not all vacation rentals are created equal on the island.
