I recently stayed at this Gulf Shores VRBO property for Spring Break, and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing.Upon arrival, the cleanliness of the unit was a major concern. The secondary bedroom had linens that were visibly old and stained, and my son even found and killed a bug on his bed the first night. The overall property appeared to be in need of a deep clean, especially in high-use areas.The furniture was also in poor condition. The sofa, throw pillows, and what appeared to be a pullout bed were all stained—despite management informing me that there was no pullout sofa in the unit. Because of the sleeping arrangements, my son had to sleep on two chairs pushed together, which was far from comfortable.In the master suite, the grout in the bathroom was dirty and stained, adding to the overall lack of cleanliness throughout the property.Additionally, the ocean view was not as advertised or expected. The condo faces another building, which significantly obstructs the view and takes away from the beachfront experience.I reached out to the property manager the night I arrived to share my concerns. While they did respond, no meaningful solutions or accommodations were offered to address the issues during our stay.Overall, I was disappointed, especially given the expectations for a Spring Break vacation rental. I hope improvements are made for future guests.
