This property was very quiet and peaceful. We had a family of 8 and everyone had their own room. There was even a deep folding crib for the little one. Everything was comfortable and was great to enjoy. Even though the lake is not there you can still explore and walk down to the river.
Our 1st impression of the house is that it is so much bigger than it looks from the outside! The kitchen is lovely, modern countertops & cabinets & well supplied with everything needed. All of the bedrooms are nice sized & have comfortable beds with nice sheets, blankets & fluffy pillows. The kids bunk room is great. The upstairs living space & bar was perfect for our kids to hang out & watch TV or play the Pacman Arcade game. There is plenty of outdoor sitting & tables on the patio & many chairs for around the fire pit. We look forward to returning when the lake water is back but it is very interesting to walk about the lake bed & see something you don’t see very often. Reminded our kids of Mars or the Moon surface! We had a great stay.
We had a large number of family members travel to wixom lake / midland for a funeral. The property was spacious and way bigger than we expected with a beautiful front yard !! Would stay here again in a heartbeat
