We booked this property at the last minute with our friends and family. It was a new posting so we were a little hesitant at first, but it surpassed all of our expectations. There was plenty of space for 4 couples, a baby and a dog. Everyone had their own bedroom. Having two full bathrooms was a bonus as well.
The kitchen was fully stocked with all appliances and utensils. Just bring your food and you are ready to go. The view from the back deck was amazing. We rented a pontoon board for a couple of days and kept it at the dock on the property. Everyone left happy and would love to stay there again!
We stayed 5 nights while visiting family for New Year's fun. It was centrally located to many areas to venture out in and explore. The kitchen was well supplied and large. There was plenty of room for our entire crew plus the pups! Our only complaint was spotty cell service, but we were on vacation, so it wasn't a true issue. We will definitely utilize this property in the future if needed!!!
We enjoyed our family time together! I’d love the kitchen island at my home! The place was cozy and the Christmas Tree was a wonderful touch! We celebrated with our NC grandkids!
This location and property brings joy surrounded by the beautiful panorama of God’s handiwork and man’s handiwork as demonstrated by nature around you and man’s handiwork in the home and of course the decoration had the woman’s creativity!
The property was well maintained, clean and easy to find. There was plenty of room for everyone. We hope to return to this property this Spring or Summer to really take advantage of the beautiful deck and fire pit. The lake is empty but we had a lot of fun walking around and exploring the lake bed. We were really impressed by this property.
I stayed at this house once before over the summer while visiting family and it’s such a beautiful place, good location, clean and well maintained. We decided that we wanted to stay here again. The host is responsive and nice.
Our family had such a great time on this property. The house was very nice and clean, and had everything we needed to enjoy our trip. We enjoyed the fire pit, the beautiful deck, and the games provided. Although the lake is no longer, there is still a small strip of water that we were able to use to teach our young boys how to use their fishing poles and they absolutely loved that. Thank you for letting us into your home. Would definitely return
Great times for all family members ages 7mos-55yrs. Your home suited our families needs perfectly. Beds were comfortable awesome kitchen and very clean house. Nightly bonfires were great, long walks and lots of cornhole. The spray park and beach in Beaverton were a nice place to take the little ones. Peter was very nice to work with and quick to respond to any questions we had. Thank you for the week of creating memories with my family
We really enjoyed the house and outdoor space. We played ladder golf on the lawn and roasted marshmallows in the fire pit. Even without the lake we had a great time.
My extended family stayed here for a weekend family reunion. We found the property just as described and the home very welcoming, updated, and with great water access. We have even talked about coming back next year!
As described, the backyard is steep and has loose stones. So definitely need to keep a closer eye on kids and elderly using the backyard. Despite this, we loved the fire pit, patio, and easy water access!
