Cozy Up North Riverfront Cottage - Fire Pit, Trails & Secord Lake

Escape Up North and settle into our cozy riverfront cottage on the Tittabawassee River with direct access to Secord Lake. With peaceful water views, plenty of outdoor space and room for up to 8 guests, it's a comfortable home base for a weekend away with family or friends.

FALL UP NORTH

Fall is one of our favorite times at the cottage. Enjoy the changing colors, crisp mornings and quiet evenings by the water. Spend the day exploring nearby ORV/ATV trails, fishing, golfing or simply enjoying the outdoors, then come home to dinner on the Blackstone and a fire under the stars.

Visiting during deer season? The cottage is conveniently located near state land, making it a great home base for hunters who want a comfortable place to relax at the end of the day.

THE COTTAGE

The cottage has 3 bedrooms and sleeps up to 8 guests:

• Bedroom 1 – Queen bed + twin bed
• Bedroom 2 – Queen bed + twin bed
• Bedroom 3 – Queen bed
• Living room – Sleeper sofa

There is one full bathroom plus an additional half bath.

Inside you'll find an open, comfortable living area with a smart TV and electric fireplace—perfect for relaxing after a day outdoors. High-speed Wi-Fi makes it easy to stream your favorite shows or stay connected during your visit.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, oven, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, blender, air fryer and toaster, along with the cookware and dishes you'll need to prepare meals. A washer and dryer are also available for guest use.

OUTDOOR LIVING

One of the best parts of staying here is simply spending time outside. Relax by the river, enjoy dinner outdoors, gather around the fire pit in the evening or cook for the whole group on the Blackstone griddle.

The property has private river frontage with a seawall and direct access toward Secord Lake. Kayaks and a pedal boat are available seasonally for guests who want to get out on the water.

We're especially convenient for guests bringing ORVs or coming to enjoy nearby public land and outdoor recreation.
