Welcome! My name is Carl, and I am the Host and Property Manager of Sunset Retreat JA.

Whether you need recommendations for authentic Jamaican restaurants, local attractions, sightseeing tours, beaches, waterfalls, transportation, or activities, I am always happy to help point you in the right direction and share local insights that many visitors might otherwise miss.

I take pride in providing warm Jamaican hospitality and helping guests experience the best our island has to offer. When I'm not managing the property, I enjoy raising chickens, cooking traditional Jamaican dishes, and playing dominoes with family and friends.

What I enjoy most about this neighbourhood is the peaceful atmosphere and sense of community. It's the perfect balance between relaxation and adventure. While the area is quiet, safe, and surrounded by natural beauty, it is also conveniently located near many of Jamaica's most popular attractions, including beaches, waterfalls, restaurants, shopping, and excursions.

I particularly enjoy the calm mornings, the fresh Caribbean breeze, and the slower pace of life that allows guests to truly unwind and disconnect from the stresses of everyday life. At the same time, Ocho Rios, Dunn's River Falls, the Blue Hole, and many other attractions are just a short drive away.

For me, this area represents the authentic Jamaica—peaceful, welcoming, and full of natural beauty. It's a place where visitors can relax, recharge, and experience the island at their own pace.

Unlike larger resorts, I take pride in providing a more personal experience where guests are treated like family rather than just another reservation.

The Property is located in a peaceful area of Tower Isle, St. Mary, allowing guests to relax and unwind while still being close to beaches, waterfalls, restaurants, shopping, and many of Jamaica's most popular attractions.
