The house was perfect for our needs. We had 4 adults and 2 children and were visiting the area for the weekend. The house was sparkling clean, had comfortable beds and nice amenities.

The property we rented was, at the last minute, not available! So the switched us to another property which needed a significant amount of maintenance for example, the tile floors in the kirchen, dining and hallways was so dirty that our light gray socks turned black. The kitchen window was so dirty on the inside that you couldn't see out clearly, all four sink faucets in the master bath leaked, the shower head in the master bath had a significant leak and the wifi was so weak that you could not watch a live broadcast on tv without the unit shutting down. We lost coverage 6 times during the Super Bowl and had to reboot the tv each time. There were two whole days that we had no wifi at all so couldnt use anynof our devices to read the newspaper or read and respond to emails or make tee times on line. The Management Company Vacasa said they would provide us remuneration for those days we had no wifi but that never happened because the rental was transferred to a different management company just days before our rental agreement expired. Interestingly, neither of the management companies have asked us about our stay. Finally, i was unable to determine if we put a security deposit down to ask for our refund because our agreement site has been shut down. Very disappointed in the whole process and experience this year. Regardless, we'll continue to use VRBO because we know all of these issues were with the management companies and not VRBO

During our 3 day travel to this property we had rented 3 months prior we were notified the day before we were to arrive that it was not available. Vrbo did offer to pay for any rental greater than what we had contracted for but provided little assistance in locating somewhere else to stay. Even though the rental was cancelled that day we have yet to receive our refund (12 days later) and emails to vrbo and Vacasa have received no response. We also received messages about the check-in process for our unavailable property during our trip - clearly there is little follow through.
