Vacasa was great property owner was terrible!!
Ryan with Vacasa was a big help but the property owner was terrible. When we arrived there were piles of rock and dirt from a construction project that he did not tell us about. Construction workers came to the back yard by the pool each of the first 4 days to do work and we could not contact the seller to reschedule them. There was a skimmer n the pool that we asked to have removed that stretched across the entire pool that the seller did not respond to. And the WiFi was so terrible Netflix Hulu Disney nothing played!!! The thermostat was set at at 85 the entire time and we couldn’t change it. And there was a random alarm that went off twice. All this and no response from the seller despite multiple contact attempts!!!

Need to do better *Identity Checks / Follow-ups**
The property was in a beautiful neighborhood with a very overpriced booking rate, but that's not all. It comes with 30-year-old outdated appliances, and furniture older than my grandparents, and that isn't even the best part!!!
You'll soon after check-in, be greeted by 3 grown men and 2 women ready to hold you hostage, rib you, and make death threats to your family if you try to get away or contact the authorities. My wife and I do not want to penalize the property but the manager for the location brushed us off when giving them a heads up on what is happening at their property and I urge anyone who ever finds themselves being used as an identity scapegoat for fraudsters like this please do not go and confront them on your own as you will be in immediate danger and your lives aren't worth it! Just call the authorities right away to have them handle the situation. If only we would have done that exact thing, we wouldn't have been through this absolute nightmare of a weekend!

False Promises/No Follow Through
While the property itself was mostly very nice, the management through Vacasa was terrible. The entry code and wifi password provided prior to check-in were both wrong, the pool heat, which is charged at a very high rate of 105/day, was not turned on, and the pool was very dirty, as was the hot tub. When these items were communicated to Vacasa, they did have the pool company come back out the next day to turn the heat on, but it took two more days for the pool to come to a comfortable temp. I was promised that they would refund me for the no-heat days, which they have not done. Later in the week a low water flow alarm went off, turning the heat off. The pool service was that day, so we only lost one more day of pool heat then, but after one more day the alarm went off again, and we were without pool heat the remainder of our stay. We reported the problem right away and were informed that the local manager had been informed and they would update me when they received additional information. Did not hear another word. I again complained once we returned home, and was again informed that my complaint had been passed on and I would be informed when more information was available, but have not heard a word. Paid for 11 days of pool heat, and only had 4 days of pool usage! Hot tub had a ring around it and the water was yellow. Display indicated that the hot tub was overdue for water change by 653 days! Very disappointed with Vacasa management and won't rent from them again!
