We had a great visit in Ashford ! The home was cute, very convenient location if you’re hiking Mount Rainier, it comfortably housed our group of 5. Seeing the beautiful elk both days was the best! Summer the caretaker is very hospitable and shared valuable information regarding the surrounding area.

Wonderful view from almost every room!Very quiet and peaceful. There is beach access when tide is low--which was fun for the children to explore. Lots of wildlife. We spotted a bald eagle! Warnings/SuggestionsDriving down to the house is on a very narrow winding road (which is shared among other homes). I would advise mirrors along the way as I don't know how I would maneuver if there was another car coming in the opposite direction.If small children, be aware as railings are easy for children to slip through.
