Our newly restored cottage offers a private, residential-style stay in the heart of historic Rowley. Built in 1725 and thoughtfully updated, this First Period home blends rustic New England charm with contemporary comforts, while extending the distinctive farmhouse experience our guests love.
The cottage features a full kitchen, dining room, two living rooms, three bathrooms, and two bedrooms. The primary bedroom offers a King bed with luxurious Frette bedding, the second bedroom includes two Twin beds, and a Sleeper Sofa and adjacent full bathroom on the main floor allow the cottage to comfortably host up to six guests.
Guests of “The Cottage” enjoy the same signature Briar Barn Inn experience, art and antique furnishings, thoughtful amenities, and easy access to Grove and The Spa at Briar Barn Inn in a more private, spacious setting.
This new space is ideal for group travel, family getaways, extended stays, and small celebratory retreats.
