Fun, unique property full of personal touches. Great communication with the host and close to all the Dripping Springs attractions. Had lots of deer visit the backyard in the mornings and evenings.

About the host

Hosted by Ami Martin

Host profile image
Originally from Portland, Oregon where I was an BnB Superhost with more than 550 five star reviews, I moved to Texas in 2021 to enjoy more sun. As a host, I like helping guests relax and discover natural beauty including wildlife, plants and local culture in Texas Hill Country. When I'm not hosting, I work as a wine sommelier at Grape Creek Vineyards.

Why they chose this property

Deer Creek Ranch, where the firehouse is located offers a laid back atmosphere where neighbors take care of each other and wildlife is plentiful. I love watching the white tail deer in the backyard of the firehouse and appreciate Dripping Springs "dark skies" initiative for star gazing and bird migration preservation.

What makes this property unique

Staying in a renovated firehouse offers a truly unique experience. With 50 ft of glass doors (two engine bays), enjoying the scenic beauty and wildlife is seamless. With industrial design details including polished cement floors, high ceiling and abundant natural light, the firehouse is inviting and relaxing.
