Our holiday rental, newly built in 2021, is located on an idyllic lake in a small holiday home community on the edge of the forest in the village of Harkebrügge.
Spanning two floors, the apartment features two bedrooms, a bathroom with a shower and toilet, and enough space for up to 6 people (the 5th sleeping arrangement is a high-quality fold-out guest bed, and the 6th is a travel cot for babies/toddlers).
On the ground floor, the holiday rental features a light-filled living and dining area with a fully equipped kitchen, as well as a high-quality sofa set that converts into a guest bed, a Smart TV, and an Amazon Echo. You’ll also find a bedroom with double beds (180 x 200 cm) on the ground floor. The bathroom, featuring a walk-in shower and toilet, a washer-dryer, and a changing table, is located across from the bedroom. There is also a storage room under the stairs.
The highlight of the holiday rental is the spacious sauna on the upper floor, which you can use free of charge.
On the upper floor, you’ll also find a bright, spacious second bedroom with two single beds (90 x 200 cm), which is perfect for the youngest members of the family to play to their hearts’ content. The VELUX CABRIO™ skylight instantly transforms the space into a balcony-like rooftop area, offering a beautiful view over the roofs of the neighbouring houses towards the swimming lake. You’ll also find a smart TV here.
For your baby or toddler, you can add our baby package to your booking. It includes a high-quality travel cot (120 x 60 cm), a matching children’s mattress with sheets and bedding, a changing table, a high chair, a bathroom stool/toilet seat, and a stair gate.
When the weather is nice, enjoy the fresh northern air on the covered south-facing terrace, which is equipped with comfortable patio furniture and a gas grill. Bicycles you bring along, for example, can be stored safely in the utility room.
Our holiday rental is furnished to a high standard with modern amenities and offers everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The triple-glazed PVC windows are fitted with electric exterior blinds. Additional amenities include underfloor heating, a ventilation system with heat recovery, a large sliding door in the living room, and white interior doors. You’ll also have Wi-Fi (fiber-optic connection) throughout the entire apartment.
It offers plenty of space and tranquility for a relaxing holiday with the whole family. Thanks to our electronic door lock with a key code, you have flexibility regarding your arrival time.
Harkebrügge is located near Oldenburg (25 km), Bad Zwischenahn (20 km), Papenburg (38 km), the North Sea (80 km), and the Dutch border (60 km).
In the centre of Harkebrügge, you’ll find a bakery, supermarket, butcher shop, pharmacy, petrol station, banks (Sparkasse and Volksbank), a steakhouse, and two snack bars. The distance to the centre of Barßel is about 6 km. There you’ll find additional shopping options, restaurants, and a boat harbour with a great playground for children. Canoe tours from Barßel to Harkebrügge are also available.
There is a barefoot park right next to the lake. Walks around the lake and adventurous forest trails are particularly worth mentioning here.
