Although the amount of rooms were accommodating for my amount of family members, it did not meet our expectations. The towels were very old and dingy. There was no complementary soap. We never found a broom. The few cookware items were old. All of the dishes had dried up food on them. A few of the fire alarms were disconnected. The fire extinguisher was empty. None of the rooms had televisions. The toilets were running all night and one toilet made a loud knocking noise every time it was flushed. The maintenance man came and said that the toilets needed new flush kits. One of the sinks downstairs leaked water all over the floor. To us, the owners didn't put much thought or enough TLC into the place. When I was searching for a cabin, I was drawn to this cabin because I saw a hot tub on the pictures but after booking, when the confirmation was sent, I noticed that there was no hot tub. Also, the host never replied to me when I asked questions. I asked before our arrival was there a hot tub and I asked if there were any televisions in the bedrooms. NO RESPONSE! While we were there, I asked where are we to put the trash for pickup. NO RESPONSE. My group was very dissatisfied. I had to refund them their money. What a horrible experience for my first time guests.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that your stay did not meet your expectations. We were especially surprised by your comments regarding the hot tub, as our listing has never advertised a hot tub and none of the photos, amenities, title, or description mention one. We understand how disappointing it can be when a property doesn't have an amenity you were hoping for, which is why we encourage guests to carefully review the listing details before booking. Regarding communication, we take guest inquiries seriously and strive to respond promptly. We have no record of messages asking about televisions in the bedrooms or confirming the presence of a hot tub prior to arrival. And once the guest arrived and contacted us, we clarified that there was no hot tub. Unfortunately, from that point, everything was wrong with the property. Had we received those questions, we would have gladly clarified the amenities provided at the cabin. Also, we were in close contact with guest receiving messages multiple times a day and the majority of their complaints in the review were never mentioned which raises another red flag. As for the maintenance concerns, when notified, we immediately sent maintenance to inspect the property. We appreciate issues being brought to our attention during a stay, as it gives us the opportunity to address them. We have since reviewed the items mentioned to ensure everything is functioning properly for future guests. The fire extinguisher was not empty and very odd that this call out would be made considering there was no need to use a fire extinguisher. And than the complaints started that the guest could "hear" roaches. We sent maintenance out three times (even though the guest denied it but their guests were in the home when we were there and we met with them- just Rhonda wasn't there). It's also worth noting that this reservation was made very last minute for their daughter's wedding, and while we understand there was disappointment about the absence of a hot tub, many of the concerns raised appeared only after arrival and after they realized they booked a cabin without a hot tub. We believe our listing accurately represents the cabin, its amenities, and the value it offers at its price point. We remain committed to being transparent with our guests and providing exactly what is advertised. We wish you and your family all the best.
