Great getaway stay

Loved the spaciousness of this house both inside and out and it was very comfortable for the six of us friends. It provided everything we needed including being able to enjoy dining outside on the deck and relaxing in the hot tub in the evenings. Property was as described and host was very quick & proactive in communicating. Would definitely rent this home again.

Perfect Retreat

This house was a great space for my friends and I to relax after cycling through the hills of Helen, Georgia. The hot tub was a huge bonus- a treat for sore . The downstairs game area was a wonderful spot to play cards with a few friends. Super close to Unicoi Park, Anna Falls, and another area attractions.

Girls Weekend

We had a wonderful girl's weekend at Bear Crossing! The house is private, well appointed and clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The Owner is fantastic and replies quickly to any questions. We would definitely consider staying again.

Family Friendly Getaway

We had an awesome stay at Bear Crossing! The house was beautiful with great amenities for adults and kids. We had 3 families with each family having a floor and bathroom. The game room was nice area for the kids to play and everyone enjoyed the hot tub.

Fabulous 40th

My family and I had a great stay for my 40th birthday weekend at the cabin. The hot tub was amazing after a day of walking around downtown Helen. There were plenty of rooms for everyone and enough space to spread out. The cabin was nice and offered great options for games and hanging out. We all had an amazing time.

Great Time at Bear Crossing!

Loved this house! Marvin was easy to communicate with and thought of everything. The house came fully stocked including little details like disposable razors. The welcome basket was a nice touch too. We also really appreciated how everything was clearly labeled--what each light switch does, how to operate appliances, etc. We didn't have to search for a welcome book or scroll through emails for house instructions. Between the board games, video games, foosball table, TVs with every streaming service, the hot tub, and the peaceful location, you might not want to leave. We enjoyed the house so much that we had to remind ourselves that there was a whole town to explore.

Home away from home!

My family greatly enjoyed our stay at Bear Crossing! The house had plenty of space for the 9 of us, and the amenities were awesome. The host was very kind and easy to communicate with and made sure we had everything we needed. We spent four nights and didn’t want to leave when the week came to an end. This place truly felt like home, and we hope to return someday. Highly recommend!*The only potentially problematic thing worth mentioning is the steep driveway. We made the mistake of parking at the bottom of it when we first arrived, and we almost weren’t able to get our passenger van back up it when we tried to leave the first time (especially because the driveway was wet from rainfall). We parked at the top of the driveway for the remainder of our stay and had no other issues.things/places we enjoyed during our visit: Alpine Pizza Cafe, Cowboys & Angels restaurant, Granny’s Funnel Cake Shop, Das Ice Cream, Yonah Coffee Company, tubing down the Chattahoochee River with Cool River Tubing, riding the Georgia Mountain Coaster, hiking to Anna Ruby Falls, and Betty’s Country Store for groceries
