This newly renovated 3 BR and 2 BA Cottage in the Sparrow Pond section of Kiawah Island, S.C. The cottage is located in the lush, secluded section of the West Beach. Kiawah Island is unique among the barrier islands, unlike Hilton Head or Myrtle Beach commercial development is virtually non-existent.
The quaint cottage sleeps six in comfort. It is a perfect getaway for couples. A well-behaved dog is welcomed. The master bedroom features a king size bed and its own en suite with a tub/shower combo. The second bedroom has a queen bed. The third bedroom has two twin beds. The second bathroom is located off of the main living area and features a roomy shower. The main living area includes a Smart TV with cable. The screened porch with a large table and grill allows guests to eat a quiet meal outdoors. A large wrap around deck provides additional outdoor space. The cottage is within a FIVE-MINUTE WALK to the broad sandy beach. It is an ideal setting for family fun, a quiet get-away, or romance. The community pool is conveniently located along the walk to the beach and is free to Sparrow Pond visitors. The Cougar Point golf course and clubhouse/restaurant is within walking distance. Miles of trails for walking or biking cover the island. Fresh Fields shopping center is a two-mile bike or car drive from the cottage near the entrance to the island. At the center, you will find a grocery store, shops, drug store, liquor store, coffee shop, sports shop, restaurants, medical care, and more. Bohicket Marina is another mile near the entrance to Sea brook Island and has a full-service marina as well as more restaurants and shops. Be sure to be there at sunset!

We loved staying at this cottage. It’s in the perfect location with access to the fantastic Cougar Point clubhouse. It’s close to the front gate too, making it an easy trip up to Freshfields for groceries or shopping. Plus our little furry child gets to come along. We will stay here again soon!

From the minute we walked in, we could see right away we made an amazing choice! Four adults two tween girls. We used the bikes, the beach and the community pool! The house was very clean, well equipped with things you sometimes don’t get in a rental. We were thrilled with this property, location and the owner. We will go back!

Beautiful, clean cottage!

We have been doing a mid-year get together with our adult children and their families at Kiawah for several years. This is our second year staying at Frank's cottage. It's super clean and updated. He has thought of everything needed for a comfortable stay (plenty of pots, pans, utensils, bikes, beach toys, chairs, towels, etc.) Just a short walk to the beach... We had so much fun and are looking forward to going again next year. :)

Perfect home

I visited with my mom and almost 2 year old. Beautiful, thoughtfully well-equipped home that could have easily accommodated more adults and children. Easy walk to the beach, even with a very busy toddler! The house was very convenient to stay in with a small child, and it was easy to make my baby’s bedroom dark for naps. We were able to close off the only set of stairs with a basic baby gate, and our toddler loved the wrap around deck. Quiet, beautiful and safe neighborhood. 10/10! We’ll definitely be back!

Beautiful remodeled, immaculate home

This home is super clean and the pictures do not do it justice when it comes to the remodeling they've done...beautiful. Beds are super comfortable. The home, deck, screened in porch all very roomy. It's fully stocked kitchen, beach towels, lots of beach chairs, 4 bikes, a few boogey boards, various bags of sandcastle making toys, etc. We didn't use the pool, but we passed it on the way to the short walk to the beach and it is nice. The owner, Frank, responds very quickly with the couple of questions we had. We highly recommend and we hope to go back next year. :)

Cozy Beach Cottage in Excellent Location on Kiawah Island

Great beach cottage in Kiawah Island. Close to the entry to Kiawah and only a few blocks walk to the beach. These cottages are nestled in the beautiful trees on Kiawah and are very peaceful. I specifically booked this cottage due to it being pet friendly and not charging a ridiculous amount of fees on top of the weekly rental. Many other home owners should do the same! While the cottage is not fancy, it is cozy and well layed out with everything needed for your stay. Having access to washer, dryer, bike cruisers, beach chairs, gas grill and screened and open patios is a great addition. Great working AC as well, which is a must for summers at the beach. Easy and excellent communication with the host. Definitely recommend this cottage and I will book again in the future.

I agree with another reveiwer who said the photos don't really show how beautiful this cottage is inside. Frank has really updated this cottage and it is a lovely, modern beach home. We had absolutely everything we needed and were so comfortable. The beds were very comfortable and we loved the layout of the sofa and swivel/rocking chairs in the living room for watching TV or relaxing with a book. Frank has thought of everything! We also enjoyed meals out on the screen porch. Frank is super organized and a great communicator. We were arriving the Saturday after Tropical Storm Idalia and Frank reassured us all was well with the property before we made our trip. We used the bikes every day too! Thanks so much Frank! We hope to be able to stay here again! This was our third time on Kiawah and our favorite place so far.

Frank's house was the perfect location and house for our family visit to Kiawah Island. It was very clean and stocked with everything that we needed for the weekend. We came for the Kiawah Marathon, and this house was a perfect walking distance to the start/finish line! Highly recommended to stay here!
