About this property

Spacious 5-bedroom house in delightful Shelter Island

Welcome to Shelter Island, your home away from home. A short ferry ride to a relaxing vacation at the beach. Our updated home is close to south ferry, Mashomack Preserve, beaches, restaurants and shops.

When you walk in, you will see an open dining and kitchen area perfect for everyone to gather after a day at the beach. There is a nice big porch with BBQ to enjoy outside and stargazing when the sun goes down. Be sure to keep a look out for the wild turkeys and deer!!

We have two living rooms to relax, both with smart TV’s, one also has a sleeper sofa. Bedroom on first floor has queen. Four bedrooms upstairs: 1 with two twins and three with queen beds. Each floor has a full bathroom. We also supply all sheets, bath towels and beach towels.

The renovated kitchen is equipped with all the necessary appliances, dishware and utensils. The central air conditioning ensures your comfort throughout your stay. Stay connected and entertained with high-speed internet throughout the house.

The South Ferry Hills Association private community beach is around the corner with picnic benches, a boat launch and enclosed waters of Smith Cove for paddleboarding, kayaking and boating.

We are close to the South Ferry and not far from Shelter Island's, restaurants (including Leon 1909, The Pridwin, Vine Street Cafe, The Chequit, Sunset Beach, Salt and The Rams Head Inn), public beaches, golf courses and Mashomack Preserve.

We also have two paddleboards available for us during your stay.

We also have a peloton, so bring your shoes.

It is the perfect getaway and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

Remove personal items and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Please set both upstairs and downstairs AC thermostats to 70 degrees.
Please close and secure outdoor umbrella. Make sure BBQ propane tank is off (closed).
Please make sure all bikes and beach chairs are away in shed.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
