Enjoy this beautifully furnished and bright apartment on the ground floor of a private residence with direct ocean views and a large terrace, 2 bedrooms (with double beds) for 4 people (up to 6 people / sofa bed in the living room, free baby bed upon request) Bathroom, fully equipped kitchen with microwave, oven, refrigerator with freezer, and washing machine (free to use), and much more. The living room features antique furniture, oriental rugs, and numerous paintings (all originals), as well as a large flat-screen TV, stereo, VCR, CD player, etc. In an additional utility room, there is, among other things, a washing machine for free use. A covered patio adjoins the living area. If you don’t want to dry your clothes on the balcony, you can dry your freshly washed laundry here. Pets are allowed upon consultation (see Additional Information).
You can easily reach the spacious pool area, which features an adult pool and a children’s pool with a small playground, with an lift right in front of our apartment’s front door.
After a refreshing swim, relax with a coffee or a glass of wine on the 30-square-meter sun-drenched terrace and enjoy the fantastic view of the Atlantic Ocean and the fishing village with its picturesque lighthouse and two beaches.
Our apartment is located in El Porís, one of the last unspoiled, quiet, and authentic seaside spots where tourism has yet to find its way. There are no hotels here yet, and hardly any holidaymakers! The fishing village has two natural swimming beaches. One of them, with the picturesque Café al Mar right by the sea, is just a 3-minute walk away via private steps. A new, well-stocked supermarket with its own butcher shop is about a 3- to 4-minute walk away. You can also pick up fresh baguettes here in the morning.
Visit the most beautiful climbing wall in the Canary Islands above Poseidon / Arico. The famous surfing and kiteboarding beach of El Medano is a 15-minute drive away, while the tourist resort of Las Americas, the port of Los Cristos, and the capital, Santa Cruz, are all about 30 minutes away.


Use of facilities: All facilities belonging to the apartment are free of charge. Use of the tennis court / Abades is also free of charge. There is underground parking available for €5.00 per day. There are shops (supermarkets), a German doctor, a hair salon, various restaurants/tascas/seafood restaurants, banks, and other stores on the hotel grounds. The bus stop is just a few minutes away. Thanks to the excellent bus system, you can reach any part of the island.

Surrounding Area: The fishing village of Poris de Abona is part of Arico, the second-largest municipality in Tenerife in terms of area. However, the population is small, which explains the “low-key” tourism. There are no hotels here, only private rentals. Poris has developed organically over time; the new building nestles in the bay. Our fishermen continue to go out to sea every morning. The inland area is rural and mountainous. The hills and mountains are reminiscent of Switzerland or Austria. In the immediate vicinity, you can go hiking and cycling of all kinds. The small mountain villages, with their cafés, bars, and tascas, invite you to relax. There are good and affordable fish taverns in and around Pori.
Whether you’re swimming, surfing, snorkelling, scuba diving (there’s a diving school in the neighbouring bay), playing tennis, hiking, cycling, or just letting your mind wander—it’s all possible here.
One of the two bays is particularly suitable for young children. The beach slopes very gently into the sea.
Thanks to the bus and highway connections, the entire island is perfect for exploring from here, and having your own car gives you a whole new level of freedom.
