We had a very comfortable stay in this lovely chalet. Rafa is a 1st rate host. Very well located for exploring the Anaga and Tiede national parks.

Ideal location

Superb house situated perfectly for touring all of the island. Candelaria is a lovely non touristy spot. House had everything we needed and Rafa was a great host. You definitely need a car although there is a bus stop very close by and we used the bus one evening.

Wonderful relaxing break in idyllic setting.

Property was just as described . Absolutely beautiful with gorgeous gardens and pool. Owner was very friendly but not intrusive at all. Views from the balcony were incredible . Easy access to all beaches . A fabulous holiday . We hope to return next year.

Everything was great and totally genial host.

Beautiful garden. Quiet and secluded. Everything works well and Rafael the host who lives downstairs is always on hand to help with any problem.

Very relaxing and great location

You do need a car, and the drive tests your hill start but it was a wonderful place to relax - lovely garden. Very close to Candelaria (5 minute drive to the basilica), and great spot to either drive north to Santa Cruz/La Laguna (20 mins) or further south (Los Christanos, approx 40 mins). The kids also enjoyed the pet chicken Peta on the property. The owner Rafael was very welcoming and a great source of information. Highly recommended.

Wonderfull.

We have just spent 2 weeks in this lovely home. The kitchen was well equipped. We used the house as a base to explore the island. If you want a quiet location, then we would recommend this house.The house is large and spacious. Amazing view from the top balcony. The outdoor grill is a great place to spend the evening. It is necessary to have a car. Rafael is very helpful and a good adviser. There was an internet connection, which was a little slow sometimes, but adequate. 7 minutes to the grocery store. The house is situated 45 minutes drive from the airport. I really liked it and we wish everyone who likes privacy and peace to stay here.

Host (Rafael) - 10/10 for communication and discreetness. Rafael lives in a dwelling under the main house. The only times we saw him were when he was cleaning the pool or we had questions. He speaks very good English.Accommodation - 10/10 for cleanliness. Private parking with security gates.Ground floor - Kitchen with all facilities, TV room with sofa and chairs (Spanish/German satellite TV programmes). There is a Firestick available for Netflix, Prime and YouTube (if you have a subscription). Excellent Wifi. Bathroom with a bath and shower. Large bedroom with two single beds and lots of wardrobe space. Small balcony (off the TV room) that is perfect for catching the sunrise.Upstairs - Open plan and very spacious with a double bed, bathroom with bath and shower. Seating area with sofa and chairs. Balcony that has fantastic views of the mountains and the sea.Outside area - 10/10. The gardens are tiered with 2 levels. Both levels are exclusively for guests. Fantastic sun trap. Mercadona, Aldi & Hipodino supermarkets are 10 minutes drive.Recommended - CICAR car hire at the airport. We will definitely return

Rafa ist ein ganz fantastischer, natürlicher und emphatischer Gastgeber, der ein sehr gutes Gespür für die Bedürfnisse seiner Gäste hat. Wir haben im Juli mit unseren beiden Kindern (13 & 10) zwei wundervolle Wochen dort verbracht. Die Jungs stürzten entweder nach dem Frühstück oder nach Ausflügen stets sofort in den sehr gepflegten und erfrischenden Pool inmitten der bezaubernden Oase die Rafa liebevoll geschaffen hat. Zu jeder Tageszeit findet sich auf dem Grundstück ein angenehmes schattiges Plätzchen zum Verweilen oder zur Beobachtung von Faltern und Vögeln, Hauskatze Luca oder des süßen Dackels Tobi inmitten des vielfältigen Grüns auf dem Grundstück. Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber, gepflegt und sehr geräumig für 4 Personen. Das bereitgestellte Bettzeug und die Handtücher dufteten wunderbar. Auf dem Balkon ließen wir morgens bei einem Kaffee die Sonne aufgehen und sahen abends bei einem Glas Wein den Stadtlichtern von Santa Cruz beim Funkeln zu.Die Unterkunft ist verkehrstechnisch gut gelegen, so dass sowohl Puerto de la Cruz, und Santa Cruz im Norden, also auch Los Cristianos und die Costa Adeje im Süden, sowie Las Lagunetas, der eindrucksvolle Nadelwald über den Wolken, mit dem Auto in 30-50 Minuten auf den sehr gut ausgebauten Straßen erreichbar sind.Wir haben eine wundervolle Zeit dort verbracht - vielen lieben Dank Rafa für das rundum sorglos Paket, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt bei euch!

Leider können wir die vielen hervorragenden Bewertungen zu Sauberkeit und Ausstattung überhaupt nicht nachvollziehen. Bereits eine Rezension aus der Zeit vor 2018 beschreibt dieselben Mängel, die wir nun ebenfalls vorgefunden haben. Offenbar hat sich seitdem kaum etwas verändert. Die Wohnung war bei unserer Ankunft leider nicht sauber. Kühlschrank, Schubladen, Küche und Bäder waren verschmutzt, überall lagen tote Fliegen. Aufgrund einer oberhalb gelegenen Hühnerfarm gab es eine extreme Fliegenplage. Grillen war kaum möglich und musste abgebrochen werden.Besonders schlimm waren die Betten im unteren Schlafzimmer. Die völlig durchgelegenen Schaumstoffmatratzen lagen praktisch auf einer Holzunterlage. Bereits nach der ersten Nacht mussten wir einen Arzt aufsuchen. Auch die restliche Ausstattung war stark in die Jahre gekommen: verschmutzte Küchengeräte, vergilbte Gardinen und Rollos, defekte Rollos, eine lose Gardinenstange, verkalkte Duschabtrennung, mit Fliegenkot verschmutzte Lampenschirme und eine stark verfettete Dunstabzugshaube. Die Einrichtung wirkte insgesamt lieblos und aus alten Möbeln zusammengestellt. Der Pool ist zwar schön, wird jedoch laut Vermieter ohne Filteranlage betrieben. Stattdessen wird regelmäßig Algenmittel zugesetzt. Nach dem Baden waren unsere Badekleidung und sogar das Duschwasser grün – kein besonders vertrauenerweckender Eindruck.Für uns war es leider kein erholsamer Urlaub. Positiv war lediglich der stets bemühte und freundliche Vermieter.
