Guimar wooden house holiday

We loved our stay at this tranquil retreat. It felt like a little piece of paradise and was the perfect place to relax. The view from the property is stunning and we loved the peace and quiet just listening to the birds and watching the lizards. It is off the beaten path away from the tourist trap which was perfect for us although a car is a must. The house was great and we had everything that we needed although tbf we only used it to cook in and sleep in, spending our days outside. The perfect place if you are wanting to relax and recharge your batteries 🙂

Fantastic

The house is just as described.. better. Elizabeth has thought of everything to make your stay as easy as possible with helpful condiments and toiletries. The garden is just as the photos. We came to relax and did just that, we stayed at the house doing very little for a number of days we were there which was perfect. The house is a long way from anywhere with very steep roads to access it, my only tip would be to have a flight that arrives in daylight. Negotiating the roads in a hire car after a day travelling was challenging!

Perfektes Haus mit allem was man braucht!!!

Kann ich wirkich empfehlen wenn man seine Ruhe von anderen haben möchte. Ist schön abgelegen in einem kleinen Bergdorf. Aber trotzdem zentral. Der Pool ist auch wirklich top erfrischen. Es ist alles vorhanden, auch Gewürze, öl Reiniger etc, mokka Kocher.Und das Grundstück ist genauso super mit kids, die haben platz zum rennen und spielen.Auch draußen alles schön grün und gepflegt. Die Einfahrt ist Steil aber problemlos fahrbar nach dem ersten mal.Klar Bellen hier und dort mal Hunde und der Kran kräht hin und wieder, aber das sollte man abkönnen und ist NICHTS negatives.Können hier wirklich volle 100Punkte vergeben.Daumen hoch

Ferien auf Teneriffa Güimar

Das Ferienhaus ist schön und die Anlage um das Haus ordentlich gepflegt. Dafür muss man dann aber schon mal einen halben Urlaubstag opfern da der Gärtner zu einem geschickt wird der dann gute 3 Stunden mit zahlreichen Motogeräten loslegt...ob das nötig ist wenn Gäste im Haus sind naja.Einfahrt und Straße zum Haus sehr steil und erforden gute Fahrkünste.Es ist tagsüber sehr ruhig und sonnig und mit der überdachten Terrasse sehr schön.Abends und nachts sind die Hunde der Nachbarn manchmal leider sehr laut.Alles in allem ist das Haus aber echt ok.Stunden

The wooden house was incredibly cozy, and the pool was beautiful—actually larger than we expected. Parking was convenient, and the house was very well equipped. Honestly, there was hardly anything missing. The communication with the host was always friendly, quick, and polite. One thing to note is that the way to reach the house is quite steep. Also, being at around four hundred and twenty meters above sea level means it's a bit cooler compared to right down by the sea. Another small downside was that the gardener came three times a week, often early in the morning, which was a bit disruptive. But, I suppose that's part of keeping everything so well maintained. We also had two lizards in the kitchen during the week and found a large cockroach, which wasn't ideal, but understandable given the natural surroundings.

Wunderschönes Haus

Außen: Der Garten, sowie der Pool (zum Abkühlen/plantschen geeignet, nicht zum Schwimmen geeignet) sind sehr gepflegt und sehr sauber, einfach mit Liebe angelegt. Die ausreichenden Sitzmöglichkeiten laden ein dort zu verweilen. Innen: Das großzügige Wohn- und Esszimmer ist geräumig und nach oben offen, es gab zur Begrüßung Schokoladen und eine Flasche Wein. Die 3 Schlafzimmer (eins davon im EG mit direkt Zugang zum Bad, mit Dusche, Waschmaschine und Trockner, davon im OG) Das zweite Bad ist mit einer Badewanne ausgestattet und über das Wohn-Esszimmer zu erreichen. Handtücher sind mehr als ausreichend verfügbar, warmes Wasser ist jederzeit genügend vorhanden, zu dritt hatten wir nie Probleme. Die gut ausgestattete Küche, mit allem was man benötigt wurde von der Vermieterin mit einem Obstkorb ausgestattet und der Kaffeebehälter (Filterkaffee) war gefüllt. Es gibt auch eine Spülmaschine. Was wir als hilfreich weitergeben möchten: - Es ist ein Haus, das komplett abseits aller Touristen liegt, man hat seine völlige Ruhe, von den Nachbarn hört und sieht man nichts. Lediglich die Hunde bellen ab und an und der Hahn ist morgens aktiv. - Die Anfahrt zu dem Haus sollte man definitiv mit einem hohen Auto bewerkstelligen, da die Straßen, sowie die Einfahrt sehr steil sind. - Es gibt auch 2 Wege, wie man zur Unterkunft gelangt, ich finde es ratsam sich davor die beiden Routen anzusehen. Wir möchten uns bei unserer Gastgeberin bedanken, Elisabeth war uns zu jederzeit eine große Hilfe!

Très beau chalet, bien équipé. On ne manque de rien. Le jardin est super agréable, nous avons passé de beaux moments en famille. La route conseillée par waze est escarpée mais on s'y fait vite. Seul bemol, la piscine un peu fraîche debut mai et on doit vite faire beaucoup de route ou que l'on veuille aller sur l'ile, mais cela est compensé par la vue et le calme. Pour un sejour loin du tourisme de masse c'est idéal. Merci beaucoup ! 😍

Nous remercions Elizabeth une fois de plus pour sa magnifique maison, l'endroit est juste waouh.... reposant ,calme , une vue magnifique! La maison est très très bien équipée, tout était vraiment parfait. Concernant l'accès à la Pajara, nous vous conseillons fortement la sortie 22 "Güimar El Puertito" sur la TF-1.

Sehr schönes Haus

Es ist ein gepflegtes, sauberes Haus und Grundstück. Das Haus ist etwas hellhörig, das war für uns aber kein Problem. Es gibt eine super Aussicht. Wir haben unseren Urlaub dort sehr genossen.

Preciosa casa para relajarse

Hemos estado 10 días mi familia y yo. La casa está apartada, dándote la oportunidad de relajarse y desconectar totalmente. La tranquilidad y el silencio del lugar es inigualable. Magníficas vistas e instalaciones. Una casa encantadora para pasar unos días en está preciosa isla. La propietaria muy amable, y la comunicación con ella es sencillísima. Gracias Elisabeth por estos días tan relajantes.

Prima vakantiehuisje met prachtig zeezicht

Wat een prachtig uitzicht op zee heeft dit huis! Je hebt een heel huis met tuin en zwembad voor jezelf, wordt gewekt door de haan en kijkt uit op zee. Ver weg van het massatoerisme maar toch maar 10 minuten rijden naar een snelweg. Alle ruimte binnen, ideaal ook dat er 2 badkamers zijn. Het is jammer dat er al best wat gebruikssporen zichtbaar zijn, maar het is wel heel compleet ingericht. Ik had dacht ik gelezen dat er een houtgestookte kookplek was maar er zit gewoon een elektrische kookplaat in. Communicatie verliep via WhatsApp maar wel heel duidelijk en compleet. Bedankt!

Super, die Gastgeberin, das Haus und auch die Nachbarn!

Wir haben als Familie (2 Erw./ 3 Kinder 7m/10m/13w) den 2 wöchigen Urlaub sehr genossen. Wir haben einen Opel Mokka gebucht und kamen damit sehr gut ans Haus. Das Haus ist ein Holzhaus, daher ist es hellhörig und die Balken knarzen. Allerdings gewöhnten wir uns schnell daran. Die Lage von dem Haus: Wer dieses Haus bucht muss wissen, dass es nicht in einem „Touri-Zentrum“ liegt. Das Haus liegt in einem Ortsteil von Güimar (Pajara/ 420m ü.Nn) einem Bauerndorf. (Achtung: Wachhunde die nachts Katzen verbellen und morgens der Hahn vom Nachbarn…aber nach 2 hört man die nicht mehr). Die Temperaturen sind am Morgen und Abend teilweise etwas frisch gewesen, denn der Bergwind ist dann doch kühl, also ein kleines Jäckchen sollte mitkommen. Hier kommt man definitiv nur per Auto zurecht, das heißt aber auch: Ruhe! Kein Disco- oder Autolärm… einfach Ruhe! Morgens haben Erkundungstouren ins Gebirge, danach zum Strand (Strand von der Geisterstadt Abades ist sehr zu empfehlen) und am späten Nachmittag dann nach Hause und die Kinder haben den Pool (1,5m tief!) ausgiebig getestet. Zum Haus bzw. der Straße vom Haus gibt es 3 Zuwege: 1x von Güimar mit vielen Radfahrern und zur Seite steilen Schluchten, 1x von El Escobonal und dann mit einer unglaublichen Steigung von La Caleta. Diesen haben wir immer genommen, da es der schnellste Weg war. Hier muss man definitiv Autofahren können, mit im Berg (Rückwärts) anfahren etc…. Das ist wichtig, denn die Straßen sind sehr schmal und so steil (oder steiler) wie in den Alpen! Das Haus selber: Es fehlt an nichts! Es ist alles da: Bettwäsche, Handtücher, Waschmaschine, Trockner, Bügeleisen, Filtertüten, Eis für den Gin Tonic, Kohle für den Grill, Wasserpistolen…Wir haben noch nie ein Haus gehabt, welches so gut ausgestattet war. Mega! Da das Haus aber abseits liegt, muss (wie in anderen Ländern auch üblich) das Toilettenpapier getrennt entsorgt werden. Dauer der Umgewöhnung: 1 Tag. Nein, das Bad stinkt nicht! Vor dem Haus an der Straße ist ein Container in dem die Müllbeutel (ebenfalls im Haus) entsorgt werden. Internet und WLAN ist im Haus (170 down/60 up). Der Pool hatte bei uns im August angenehme Temperaturen. Die Gastgeberin: Elisabeth ist eine zuvorkommende und sehr liebe Person. Sie war ständig per Whatsapp (engl. oder spanisch) erreichbar und hat wertvolle Tips für die Umgebung gegeben und uns mit Rotwein, Nudeln mit Tomatensoße und Wasser begrüßt! Mega lieb und nochmals vielen Dank für alles an der Stelle!
