The space: Shore Sounds Good is a sound front condo in Rodanthe Sunset Resort that captures the relaxed elegance of the Outer Banks. Newly remodeled in 2026 with a focus on comfort and sleep quality with upgraded furnishings and bedding create a relaxing atmosphere throughout this premium top-floor unit. The condo is nestled in a small, quiet 6-unit building located in the center of town.



The open-concept living area showcases a brand new sectional sofa, large flat-screen Smart TV with Roku access, ceiling fan, and luxury flooring. A 10-foot sliding glass door opens to the gem of this condo: a private balcony furnished with seating for 8 people at 2 tables and a private hot tub, where you can unwind while taking in the breathtaking panoramic views of the Pamlico Sound, watch the watersports, activities, wildlife, and witness stunningly vibrant sunsets - some say the best sunsets on the island! 

The well-appointed kitchen features granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, microwave, cookware, bakeware, crockpot, Keurig coffee maker, drip coffee maker, toaster, blender, mixer, numerous utensils and kitchen gadgets, and additional conveniences for easy meal preparation and entertaining. Bar seating and a dining table comfortably accommodate 6–9 guests.

The sound front master bedroom offers a spacious and tranquil retreat, featuring an unobstructed view of the Pamlico Sound from the king bed, quality bedding, and private access onto the balcony overlooking the water. It includes a private en-suite bath with a jetted tub. The second and third bedrooms both offer king beds with quality bedding and partial views of the Atlantic Ocean — ideal for families or friends. All three bedrooms include smart TVs, ceiling fans, and blackout curtains. A single (1-person) fold-up rollaway bed is also provided, ideally suited for a child but could accommodate an adult.

Guest amenities: 

Community amenities include a sound front pool (open seasonally), BBQ grills, and a dock with gazebo for watersports directly behind the building.

Additional conveniences include a washer/dryer, complimentary high-speed WiFi, hairdryer, iron & ironing board, basic sundries to begin your stay (toilet paper, dish soap, laundry detergent, paper towels, etc) and beds made prior to arrival with fresh linens. Fresh bath towels are provided in both bathrooms. The condo has a lockable ground-level storage room for your beach gear, plus a complimentary wheeled beach cart and some miscellaneous beach items. There is a private outdoor shower (not shared with other condo units) to rinse off the salt and sand.  Covered parking for two vehicles, additional parking available first come first serve. There is elevator access to the top floor condo. The beach is conveniently located about 600 yards away, with multiple entrances.
