If you love the wind, the waves, and the salt in the air—then come to the Elbe and enjoy your holiday at the “Meine Zeit” holiday rental.
Here in the peaceful surroundings of Altenbruch, right next to the international shipping route, you can recharge your batteries and reconnect with yourself.
Enjoy the short walk along the field to Grünstrand Beach, where you can watch the giant container ships and cruise liners, take a dip in the Elbe, or read in a beach chair.
Enjoy your “Meine Zeit” apartment, listen to the wind on the balcony with its beautiful glass railing, and let your mind wander.
Long walks, the view of the sea, fresh air in the sunshine, and the anticipation of a good book—these are moments of happiness.
The Altenbruch area charms with its tranquility and village-like character, yet also offers shopping, restaurants, cafes, and medical care. The city centre area of Cuxhaven is quickly accessible by car, bus, or bike. Right along the dike—and thus along the Elbe River—the path leads you to the historic town of Otterndorf.
Your apartment has a separate entrance and accommodates four people.
You’ll have access to a living room with a dining area, a leather sofa with adjustable backrests, and a flat-screen smart TV connected via Wi-Fi.
The apartment also features two bedrooms, each with a double bed, a fully equipped kitchen, and a bathroom with natural light.
You’ll have a cosy balcony with a glass railing offering a view of the greenery. In the fall, the bare trees clear the view of the dike and, with it, the giant shipping containers.
Another seating area in the front yard invites you to relax.
There is a parking space in front of the house.
In the Döse area, right next to the sandy beach, I’ve reserved a free parking spot for you.
You can bring your own bed linens and towels or book them in advance for an additional fee.
The city of Cuxhaven charges a bed tax of 2.75% and a visitor’s fee (per night) of 2.90 (from January 8 to April 1) or 3.20€ (from April 1 through November 1) for each person who is 16 years of age or older. These fees must be paid on-site upon arrival.
Children aged 13 and older are welcome.

The apartment is non-smoking (including the balcony), and unfortunately, pets are not allowed.
