Perched on a bluff on the south shore of Chilmark, Clethra (means "summer sweet") is an original 1929 Vineyard cottage with a stunning water-front location that offers unmatched 270 degree ocean views. You can walk 5 minutes to the beach or drive 2 minutes to beach parking. Access is limited to those who live or rent on the road. Clethra offers the best low-key but active beach living. Paddle, surf, boogie board, fish, swim or lounge at the beach.
