Perfect Place to Walk in Bamberg

What a nice place, and the apartment was in an ideal neighborhood. The bathroom was a little tight, but it worked, who spends lots of time in the bathroom when you can be meandering the streets of Bamberg. The place was exceptionally clean and the working with the owner was a delight. Thanks for a wonderful visit!

Excellent apartment in an excelent location location and very friendly host

The apartment is very spacious and easily acomodates a family with kids. Besides the nice decoration, its fully equiped and there's also a washing machine and at night it's very silent, perfect when you are traveling with a baby! The location is perfect, being close to everything. On top of all that, the host is very fiendly , understanding and helpful. We made a mistake with the booking dates and forgot our car key. Both problems with swiftly resolved, without any hickups. We wholeheartedly recommend this place and will surely return!

Die Wohnung liegt sehr zentral. Absolut ruhige Lage. Sehr sauber! Allerdings sind die kleinen Schlafsofas ( sehr einfache Matratze und man liegt auf dem Boden) schon eine Herausforderung. Für zwei Nächte war es ok.

Eine schöne Unterkunft inmitten von Bamberg! Wir waren für eine Wanderung vor Ort und zufälligerweise war Sandkerwa! Wir waren schnell in der Stadt und hatten gute Anbindung an Bahnhof (ca. 20 Minuten zu Fuß)!

Urlaub im Weltkulturerbe

Die kleine Wohnung ist sehr gut geeignet für einen Urlaub für zwei Personen. Das Doppelbett ist sehr bequem. Zwei Liegesofas bieten weitere einfache Schlafmöglichkeiten. Schlaf- und Wohnzimmer sind nicht durch eine Tür getrennt. Die Wohnung liegt zentrumsnah am verkehrsberuhigten Schillerplatz. Sie ist gemütlich eingerichtet und gut ausgestattet. Der Außenbereich ist ein kleiner Innenhof. Bäcker und Kaufhalle sind etwa 250m entfernt. Bamberg ist mit seiner historischen Altstadt ein sehr empfehlenswerter Urlaubsort. Der Stadtkern lässt sich gut zu Fuß erkunden. Aber auch Abstecher zum Stephansberg (Gartenlokal mit schönem Blick auf die Altstadt) und in den Hainpark mit seinem idyllischen Weiher lohnen sich. Und natürlich kann man herrliche Wandertouren durch die umliegenden Dörfer unternehmen. In vielen Orten gibt es Braugasthöfe (Öffnungszeiten beachten). Besonders reizvoll ist die Landschaft südöstlich von Bamberg am Rande der Fränkischen Schweiz (Jakobsweg, Paradiestal, Giechburg).

Ruhige Oase mitten in Bamberg

Wir haben unseren 14-tägigen Urlaub in dieser Wohnung sehr genossen. Da sie in einem alten Haus liegt, war es trotz der heißen Sommertage immer angenehm kühl dort und zudem sehr ruhig, obwohl wir uns mitten in Bamberg befanden. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten, viele Restaurants, Cafés und der Hain sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Frau Luther ist eine freundliche und aufmerksame Gastgeberin, die immer schnell auf Fragen antwortet. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

Zentrale Lage aber Klein und dunkel.

Die Wohnung liegt schön zentral. Man kann und sollte daher ohne Auto anreisen, denn es gibt nur Anwohnerparkplätze. Die Wohnung ist vom Komfort her ok, aber recht klein und dunkel, da kein direktes Sonnenlicht hineinkommt. Wegen der Innenstadtlage kann der doch recht hohe Preis noch in Ordnung gehen. Wegen Größe und Zuschnitt eher für Paare geeignet.
