A beautiful place for relaxing break

Had a fabulous week staying in a fantastic holiday home. It was well equipped with everything you need. The surrounding garden was beautiful. Simone couldn’t be more helpful and gave us some great recommendations. The location was rural for a peaceful stay but only 5-10 mins in the car to the beach and lovely places to eat and bars. It was about 25 minutes from Faro on a straight through road so easy access to resorts and not far to Spanish border, passing some amazing places with beautiful beaches A fabulous place to stay and would definitely book again

Ein wunderbarer Ort um sich zu erholen. Ein liebevoll renoviertes Haus im portugiesischem Stil. An manchen Tagen haben die Flugzeuge ein wenig die Ruhe unterbrochen was aber zu ertragen war.

Pure Erholung im Hinterland

Das Häuschen ist sehr hübsch und liebevoll eingerichtet. Es liegt im Hinterland von Fuseta, aber man ist in 5 Minuten mit dem Auto im Ort.Wir hatten ein bisschen mit schlechtem Wetter zu kämpfen, aber mit zwei Heizgeräten und dem kleinen Kamin mussten wir nicht frieren.

Wir hatten einen erholsamen, schönen Aufenthalt im Casa Estrela. Die Nähe zu den Stränden und zu schönen Orten wie Olhao war super. Das Haus bzw. die Wohnung ist autentisch und mit allem Notwendigen sehr gut ausgestattet. Schön wären zum Ankommen ein Willkommensgruß wie Wasser, Wein im Kühlschrank sowie ein Kanister Trinkwasser für die Erstversorgung. Gerne wieder

Excelente estadia na Casa Sol

Somos hóspedes recorrentes sempre que há disponibilidade nas casas da Simone e Renato que nos acolhem com simpatia, aceitando os nossos animais de estimação. A mais valia deste alojamento em particular reside no espaço exterior muito agradável, junto da natureza típica algarvia, a 4 km da ilha da Fuzeta que muito apreciamos. A Casa Sol tem tudo o que é preciso para umas férias descontraídas e relaxantes no campo, mas perto da praia. Obrigada, Simone e Renato! Contamos voltar! Renata

Maison typique très agréable

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans cette jolie petite maison au calme, entourée de végétation. Pas facile à trouver donc bien demander les coordonnées GPS. Proche de la petite cité balnéaire de Fuseta où on trouve commerces, restaurants, plage.

Relaxing Rustic Rural Retreat

This charming holiday home is as pictured, including sunshine. Host Simone brought in a few supplies for us when our flight was delayed. Host Renato helped us negotiate a rental vehicle mixup, and orient ourselves to the neighbourhood of Fuseta/Moncarapacho. We used this central Algarve location as a "pied-à-terre" for day trips over six weeks in winter. It is convenient to the toll highway A22, which takes you to the end of the world (Sagres), going west, and to Spain going east. The house is less than ten minutes to the beach and shops of Fuseta and scarcely more to Olhao and Faro, for historical tours, traditional markets and tourist shopping. You do need a car, unless you are extremely athletic and intend to bicycle everywhere. But be warned, despite the short distances in this tiny perfect country, the Portuguese are in a great hurry to get everywhere and they drive accordingly. Drivers from Montreal Canada will feel right at home. The cozy fire helped us unwind each evening. Be prepared to chop a bit of kindling or gather sticks from around the property. There is plenty of hardwood provided for a good hot fire and it is sized to fit the wood-stove. Canadians looking to escape the hazards of winter will find temperatures to be moderate and very comfortable, even while the Portuguese continue to wear puffy jackets and winter boots. Bring a rain jacket just in case, but on most days, the patios on this property are delightful sun-traps and spring comes very early in the Algarve. Daffodils and geraniums were blooming and the first orange blossom was opening before we left. Oranges, clementines and lemonsAlmond trees were in blossom for the length of our stay. People from North America would find this holiday home to be the equivalent of a good 'cottage at the lake'...with a stunning valley view where the lake might be. The home itself has a tiny but adequate kitchen and a spacious shower and bathroom with plenty of hot water. The heated towel rack is a welcome luxe feature on chillier days. Do not expect English television, but sports channels are easy to follow in German or Portuguese and CNN will dish up about as much American news as you can stomach. Do not expect the WIFI to work reliably. The Padaria in Fuseta has WIFI and great pastries, well worth the calories. The Portuguese are a friendly and welcoming people who appreciate attempts to speak their language and laugh with you when you make mistakes. Boa Viagem.

Lovely retreat near Fuzeta and Olhão

Very well equipped apartment in groundfloor house, quiet location, near Olhão and not too far from Faro airport. Good choice of restaurants in nearby Fuzeta. We loved our stay at Casa Estrela and enjoyed nice temperatures in November (18-20°C during daytime). Thank you Simone for guiding us to Casa Estrela the night we arrived :)

Absolut empfehlenswert

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt im Casa Estrela. Wir haben uns auf Anhieb sehr wohl in der gemütlichen Wohnung gefühlt. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und der Kontakt zu den sehr netten Gastgebern hat auch reibungslos funktioniert. Mit dem kleinen Ofen wurde die Wohnung schnell richtig warm, im April haben wir in den Abendstunden den Ofen gern genutzt. Die Terrasse mit dem wunderschönen Garten und den vielen Obstbäumen haben wir sehr genossen. Auch die Umgebung war toll! Fuseta und die vorgelagerten Inseln waren ein Traum! Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

Tolles Haus in schoener Umgebung

Wer Ruhe und Natur in Idyllischer Landlage sucht hat hier sein Glueck gefunden! Alles passt! Es handelt sich um 3 aneinanderliegende Wohneinheiten in einem alten Bauernhaus in einem Orangenhain. Interieur ist ländlich einfach aber zweckgerecht und alles funktioniert bestens. Wir haben den Grill benutzt und es gibt auch einen Kaminofen. Wir haben nichts vermisst. Das beste aber ist die schoene Terasse auf der wir die meisste Zeit verbracht haben. Das alles wenige Autominuten von Supermaerkten und Strand und trotzdem sehr ruhig. Haben es sehr genossen, gerne wieder! Danke an die freundlichen Gastgeber, die immer gut ansprechbar sind!

Toller Urlaub

Vielen Dank für die erholsamen Wochen im Casa Estrela. Sehr schöne und ruhige erholsame Lage auf einem tollen Gelände mit Zitronen-, Feigen- und Granatapfelbäumen. 😋 Wir waren mit unserem 6 jährigen Sohn zu Gast, er war total begeistert. Die Fähre in Fuseta zum Strand, war in 8min, mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Für weitere Ausflüge war die günstige Lage zur Autobahn Vorteilhaft. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit. Simone und Renato waren sehr nette Gastgeber und bei Fragen und Anliegen stets eine gute Hilfe. Wir können die Unterkunft nur weiter empfehlen.
