Beautiful apartment (1) for 2 people, comfortably furnished in a country house style. The apartment features an open floor plan. The living area consists of a fully equipped kitchenette with a dining nook and a flat-screen TV (satellite). The bedroom is separate and features a double bed. The separate bathroom has a walk-in shower and a toilet. The apartment is suitable for people with allergies, is wheelchair-accessible, and features underfloor heating.
You’ll find a parking space right by the house, as well as a lovely patio with outdoor furniture and a panoramic view.
For additional guests (one child), the sofa can be converted into a sleeping area.
An electric grill is available upon request, and Wi-Fi is also free of charge.
A washing machine, dryer, e-bike charging station, and a lockable bike storage room are available for shared use by all guests.



Our property was newly built in 2020 in a former agricultural building and currently offers three ground-floor holiday apartments (43–46 square metres), each with its own entrance and private terrace. The apartments are allergy-friendly, wheelchair-accessible, and equipped with underfloor heating, triple-pane windows, walk-in showers, built-in kitchens, and comfortable furnishings.
A washing machine, dryer, e-bike charging station, and a lockable bike storage room are available for shared use by all guests.
“Haus Sonnenhof” is situated in the heart of nature and borders a protected landscape area. At the end of the access path, you’ll find a large wetland habitat that is home to spoonbills and great white egrets. Large flocks of grey geese and white-cheeked geese often rest right outside our front door. Deer, pheasants, and hares can be spotted on our property.
The protected landscape area transitions into the Lower Saxony Wadden Sea National Park. Two dikes separate the biotope from the Dollart, home to its famous “Bohrinsel” viewing platform.
The “Sonnenhof” is located on the “Dollart Route” and is therefore a great starting point for biking and hiking tours. From here, it’s about a 7-minute drive to the fishing village of Ditzum, or a 10-minute bike ride.
