Luxury lodge with hot tub, sauna, game room, movie room & Deer Valley views
Summary:
Oak Wood Lodge
The Space:
Find unmatched luxury in both style and setting at this Park City mountain lodge, gorgeously situated overlooking the peaks and slopes of Deer Valley Resort. This is a truly coveted retreat - a place to curl up by multiple fireplaces, unwind from your daily adventures in your very own hot tub and sauna, and reconnect with loved ones over movies in the home theater and family tournaments in the game room.
This stately lodge abuts two acres of open space in The Oaks of Deer Valley, a highly desirable neighborhood that offers solitude, scenery, as well as close proximity to the best of Park City. Ample parking - including a three-car garage - helps you come and go with ease, whether you're off to Deer Valley, Park City Mountain Resort, or the renowned restaurants, art galleries, and Sundance Film Festival events that line Main Street (all two miles).
No matter if you spend your days skiing, hiking, or enjoying Deer Valley this home is a joy to return to. Gorgeous views and luxe details await at every turn, from cathedral ceilings and heated floors to stone fireplaces (two wood-burning, two gas-powered) throughout.
The house is a grand space for gathering, with the gourmet kitchen offering a large Viking gas range, double ovens, a pair of dishwashers, other top-of-the-line appliances, and both a breakfast nook and an adjacent formal dining area. Your guests can't help but be entertained, between the window-lined living room, the movie room (complete with a wet bar and popcorn machine), the game room with billiards and foosball, and multiple decks for summer barbecues.
Still, the house is every bit the family escape, with a beautifully appointed kids' play loft, all sorts of nooks for playing board games, and a telescope for nightly stargazing. Retreat to the well-equipped home office to catch up on work for a few hours, enjoy the convenience of two laundry rooms, and sleep soundly in the evenings in five bedrooms - each with an en suite bathroom. The primary suite sits beneath lofty ceilings on the main level, offering its own fireplace, sitting area, balcony, and jetted tub. Another bedroom highlight is the children's suite upstairs, with its fairytale-inspired beds, two-way fireplace, and jetted tub.

We were a group of nine (two families). The house was awesome and accommodated us well. We spent lot of time socializing in the kitchen area, but the other large rooms were great for letting us all spread out a bit in the evenings. Location was great for getting to Deer Valley!

Best Family get-away House
The Oak Wood Lodge provided our family the perfect Christmas getaway! Absolutely perfect in every way . Beautifully appointed throughout and comfortable for our large group. Beautiful views of Deer Valley and a short drive to Park City made the location convenient.
The kitchen was the best as far as having everything you need to cook anything. We spent hours in front of the wood burning fireplaces and loved the coziness of the media room. Will definitely return to this property in the future.
This house has it all and is in absolutely beautiful part of Park City. We used the house for a work retreat and there was plenty of space to hold meetings and work together. We even spent a night watching a football game in the media room which was big enough for everyone. We had a deer and her fawns walk past the living room windows one evening! It has it all!
We stayed at this beautiful property for 3 nights and loved it! The cabin is in a fantastic location and is absolutely stunning! There are multiple gathering areas, a well appointed kitchen, a hot tub, large steam room, theater, and bedrooms with en suite bathrooms. We enjoyed the large fireplaces as we sat around and conversed and laughed. We loved the big kitchen where we cooked a couple of meals and ate at the large dining room table. My only complaints are that the master bedroom bed is the most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever slept on and we had one day where we woke up with a terrible sewer smell that seemed toxic enough to reach out to the fire department. The host was not very receptive. It turned out that the sewer smell just required that we turn the water on in one of the showers for a while. We have rented many cabins, however, and loved this one enough that we will return the future. We will make sure to bring our own mattress :-)
