This lodge is under construction, the garage throughout out the building we stayed in. Stepping on boards and weaving in and out of fences. No communication on the garage being closed and not knowing where to park. So much we got towed, after talking with the “management company “ which is based in Florida?I was finally contacted by someone in the area. About help on reimbursement on the tow. This gentleman was so helpful and said he could give us half of the tow which was over 400 dollars. The bathroom was filthy with the shower being the worst , hair all over the shower wall and a bathroom sink that was very slow to drain. The bed was a Murphy bed, that mattress needs to be changed it was so uncomfortable that I decided to sleep on the couch the second night. The location is great for activities just way smaller than I thought. I don’t see how 4 people could stay here like it says in the description, it was close quarters for the 2 of us.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us, Tom. We genuinely appreciate your feedback and are truly sorry to hear about the challenges you faced during your stay. It’s clear that the construction and parking situation caused significant frustration, and we understand how that can impact your overall experience. We’re committed to improving communication about such matters, and we’ll ensure that future guests are better informed. We also regret that the cleanliness of the bathroom did not meet our standards. That’s not the level of care we strive for, and we’ll address this with our cleaning team to ensure it doesn’t happen again. Regarding the Murphy bed, we appreciate your input and will evaluate the mattress to enhance comfort for our guests. While we’re glad to hear you enjoyed the location, we understand that the space felt smaller than expected. We want every guest to feel comfortable, and your insights will help us refine our descriptions for clarity. Thank you again for your feedback, and we hope you’ll consider giving us another chance in the future. We’re dedicated to providing a better experience for all our guests.
