Great location and wonderful home in Black Butte. Can literally walk out the back door and to the tennis courts. The South Meadow Pool wasn't open while we were there, but I'm sure it's amazing to be able to walk to it when it is. Beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room for my parents, and two boys.

Fabulously Black Butte Home

The spacious and beautiful home is well equipped and comfortable. Being near one of the Black Butte swimming pools and a tennis court was idea. All of which can be viewed from the home’s expansive deck. We look forward to returning.

Fantastic family weekend getaway

The house was perfect for our family to get away from Portland for the weekend. Loved the high ceilings and the light. The Cozy fire in the great room for reading and hot chocolate, pool views off the deck, plenty of space for the kids to play games and explore and a clean kitchen to cook in while we watched the game… it was great! We also enjoyed dinner at the convenient, elegant newly renovated lodge. So easy to hop into Sisters for lunch and up to Hoodoo for some mountain fun!

Awesome House in Black Butte Ranch

We stayed here as a part of a larger family reunion this summer, and we were very happy to have stayed here. The house was great, had everything we needed, was clean and comfortable. The location was great, central to Black Butte Ranch, it is right next to a small pool that unfortunately doesn't open until later in the summer from when we were there, but it was still very close to the amenities in the lodge and Glaze Meadow Rec Center. Check-in was easy with both the Black Butte Ranch staff and VRBO/Vacasa. We would be happy to stay here again.

This under promised and over-delivered!

We've stayed at a number of BBR homes and this was our favorite. What we did not realize from the post is that the home is across from one of the smaller (chill) pools and so we could easily pop over for a swim and relax at the house. Also, we did bring our dog and having the gated deck made his stay super enjoyable (and ours more relaxed). There is just enough of everything in the house.

South Meadow Pool Stay

Overall the place was okay but the unit was smaller than the photos suggest and there were a number of maintenance issues that needed attention: screen door was off the roller and leaning against the door; towel rack in main floor bathroom was coming off of the wall; and many of the towels had an odor after one use. Renting through Black Butte directly provides for a 3pm check in and a 11am checkout but through VRBO you cannot check in until 4pm and have to check out at 10am which makes this a less preferable way to rent. In addition, the cleaning crews were sitting outside the rental at 9:50am which is just inappropriate and makes you feel like VRBO is stalking you.

This home was well maintained and all of the essentials were thoughtfully provided. We loved the spacious back deck overlooking the pool and the very short walk to the pool and tennis courts. The VRBO site said it was air conditioned. After booking, we noticed the Vacasa information said partial air conditioning. I reached out about this both before and during our visit, and received a definition of partial air conditioning but no specifics or tips. The house has a large unit in the main area but the upstairs bedrooms (2) get extremely warm. We did our best with closing blinds and opening the house evening and early morning but it was very warm. Fortunately there were screens on all windows. The house was clean and pictures accurate, thank you!
