Coziest cabin cutie
We absolutely loved our stay. This was the perfect spot for 3 friends to have a little peaceful weekend away. We cooked, played games and relaxed. The tv wasn't working well, so our attempts at movies didn't go as planned, but everything else was great. Comfy beds.

Hidden gem. So cute, so cozy. Perfect amount of rustic charm but modern cleanliness and comforts. We have stayed in numerous places in Govt Camp and this has to be the fav discovery. Super cute kids rooms. High ceilings make it feel spacious. It is in the forest, so it’s cool in summer. Plenty of pretty windows and filtered sunlight. We will be back! And we will book far in advance for this one.

Definitely cozy
Rustic and warm, a great place for a getaway either for a couple or family that doesn’t require a lot of space. Would probably make a good summer overnight, too. Only the floor boards separate the top and bottom floors.

Great cabin, very clean, comfortable queen bed. Was unaware of it being close to the highway and can hear traffic. Slow WiFi and strong smoke odor in the main level but overall a great find!

Very amazing cabin. My only complaint is the frig. Is to small. And the stair case stairs are not code. Very steep and stair trends are to small. Not safe for older people.

Hidden Gem
Perfect balance of rustic charm with clean modern comforts. Owners put a lot of care into it. Might look small, but every inch of space is well utilized, and comfortable. It’s in a shaded wooded area, but plenty of windows that let beautiful filtered light thru. Cool in summer, but has great modern heating system. Kids rooms adorable. High ceilings throughout make it feel spacious. Rustic floorboards add so much charm and uniqueness. Our fav discovery after years of rentals in Govt Camp, definitely booking again and in advance to insure our return

Mouse in the house
Cons:
- There was a mouse in the house. Saw it scurrying around and found droppings it left behind. Notified property management and they asked us to send a picture of the mouse.
- If someone takes a shower the floor in front of the toilet will be wet (no basin to keep water in small shower area).
- Entrance has a musty smell.
- No dishwasher. Read the description carefully.
Pros:
- Dining / kitchen area has a rustic and quaint feel.
- Queen bed is comfortable
