The Mara appears to be a new property for AvantStay and the staff are working hard to accommodate guests and take care of everyone and we found them all to be pleasant and welcoming. We found the rooms and bedding to be clean and comfortable, however, when booking I would advise there can be differences between rooms (beyond bed choices) at the different price levels such as room size, layout and views to consider. All-in-all we had a great stay, the pool and roof level patios with lounges, sitting tables, umbrellas and such make the Mara unique among hotel resorts in Laguna Beach.
