Closest Condo to Eagle Lift - King, Bunk, Fireplace, Garage Pkg & Dog Friendly!
"Ski-in/ski-out" gets thrown around pretty liberally in Mammoth — so we'll just be specific: we are kitty-corner to Eagle Lodge. Literally. Cross the street and you're at the lift. In boots, carrying everything, you'll be loading in under two minutes. There is no closer condo.
The condo sleeps up to 4 comfortably — a king bed in the bedroom, and a bunk in the living room alongside a big U-shaped sectional that's perfect for winding down after a long day outside. A fireplace keeps everything warm when the temperature drops. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for real cooking — all the pots, pans, and appliances, plus a dishwasher.
One feature that makes a real difference on big snow days: the building has a secured underground parking garage with a reserved spot. Drive straight in out of the storm, unload all your gear, and take the stairs directly up to the condo — you never have to step outside. **Also, our reserved parking spot has a 240EV charging outlet! No scraping ice at 6am, no hauling ski bags through a foot of fresh snow, no freezing in the parking lot. On a heavy Mammoth storm day, that's genuinely priceless.
Step out onto the balcony and you've got beautiful mountain views — perfect with morning coffee or a glass of wine after dinner.
Dogs are very welcome. We already have a plush dog bed waiting. Mammoth is one of the best dog destinations in California — well-behaved pups love it here as much as their people do.
GREAT ANY TIME OF YEAR
Winter World-class skiing & snowboarding right outside. Eagle Lift opens up the entire mountain.
Spring Mammoth often skis into June. Soft snow, uncrowded runs, and shoulder-season rates.
Summer Hiking, mountain biking, fly fishing, golf, and the cleanest air you've ever breathed.
Fall Aspen groves turn gold, crowds thin out, and the Eastern Sierra is at its most dramatic.
In summer, Mammoth is a completely different kind of destination — and an underrated one. The Lakes Basin is minutes away, with alpine lakes perfect for fly fishing and paddling. The Mammoth Mountain bike park turns the same terrain you ski in winter into one of the best lift-served trail networks in the West. And Mammoth has two exceptional golf courses — Sierra Star and Snowcreek — both set against dramatic Eastern Sierra backdrops with conditions you won't find at sea-level courses. Tee times in the thin mountain air with views like that are hard to beat.
Also worth a day trip: Devils Postpile National Monument, the June Lake Loop, and the hot springs scattered throughout the Owens Valley just over the hill. Wildflower meadows, dramatic peaks, zero humidity, warm days and cool nights — summer in Mammoth is genuinely special.
We know this area well and enjoy sharing recommendations — favorite trails, where the fishing is good, best tee times, which runs to hit first on a powder day, and where locals actually eat. Just send us a message.

Unit in great condition and updated. Location great for skiers- walk to lift. Underground garage huge plus in Winter. Kitchen and bath amenities are well stocked. Host responded immediately to a question we had.
Great little condo close to mountain activities, and perfect for a family get away. We appreciated all the little details, and love the fact that we could bring our dog to enjoy our stay with us. Great location, perfect size, excellent creature comforts. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.
If you are a skier - you should book this place - right across the street from the chair lift. We enjoyed it too - great location, quiet, well appointed.

Great time in Mammpth!
This condo was just perfect for us. Great location and beautifully appointed.
We’re a family that has always loved Mammoth, and this home is especially meaningful to us because of the memories we’ve made here over the years. We were thrilled to have the opportunity to purchase a condo in such a special place and to share it with others who appreciate Mammoth as much as we do. Our goal is to make Kirby Bear Den feel comfortable, easy, and like a true mountain retreat for your stay.

Why they chose this property
We first stayed in a condo in this area and quickly realized how much we loved being here. It has the perfect mix of beautiful mountain scenery, easy access to everything Mammoth has to offer, and a relaxed feel that makes it easy to settle in and enjoy your time away. We knew it was a place we’d want to come back to, and eventually, a place we’d love to have for ourselves and share with others.
What makes this property unique
Kirby Bear Den stands out because it’s both a personal home and a thoughtfully designed short-term rental, so it feels warm and cared for rather than generic. It’s a new condo that we’ve set up with comfort, convenience, and memorable stays in mind. Guests will appreciate the cozy mountain feel, the fresh space, and the chance to enjoy a home that reflects how much Mammoth means to our family.
