Haus Waldrast is a family-run holiday home with four holiday apartments in Ramsau near Berchtesgaden. Our house is located in the "Im Tal" area and serves as a great starting point for a holiday in the Berchtesgadener Land region and the surrounding mountains. Here, you can stay in one of four individually furnished holiday apartments: Almrausch, Bergblick, Edelweiß, or Enzian. Depending on the apartment, they can accommodate 2 to 4 people. This makes Haus Waldrast ideal for couples, families, and anyone who prefers to spend their holiday independently in their own holiday apartment. Four Holiday Apartments for Your Stay in Ramsau Our holiday apartments vary in size, layout, and amenities. You can choose from apartments with a balcony or terrace, as well as separate bedrooms and private kitchens or kitchen areas. The Edelweiß holiday apartment, at 90 m², is our largest and can accommodate 1 to 4 people. The “Bergblick” holiday apartment measures 60 m² and is also suitable for up to 4 people. The “Almrausch” and “Enzian” apartments each offer 55 m² of living space and can accommodate 2 to 3 people. This allows you to choose the holiday apartment that best suits your personal holiday preferences. Katarina and Josef Maier built the house in 1948. Initially, it served as the headquarters for a trucking company. Starting in 1975, the building was converted into a guesthouse offering breakfast, and additional guest rooms were added as early as 1977. From 1984 to 2015, Irmgard and Josef Maier ran the property. In 2015, Kerstin and Josef Maier Jr. took over the family business. As part of this transition, the former guest rooms were renovated and converted into holiday apartments. Our “Enzian” holiday apartment offers a cosy home for 2 to 3 people in a 55 m² space. The rustic-style apartment is located on the upper floor of Haus Waldrast. On the west-facing balcony, you can relax and wind down after an outing or a hike. The separate bedroom is equipped with a comfortable bed. In the living room, a large dining area, a sleeper sofa, and a TV ensure a pleasant stay and plenty of space for spending time together. The separate kitchen is equipped with a stove, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, and other practical kitchen appliances, making it easy for you to prepare your own meals during your holiday. The apartment also includes a bathroom with a shower and toilet, as well as free Wi-Fi. The Enzian holiday rental is particularly well-suited for couples and small families looking for cosy accommodation for their holiday in Ramsau near Berchtesgaden.
