We spent 3 days at this home. We had a great time. Location is great but you have to climb a hill to get the property. Host was very responsive and accommodating. I would recommend this property for anyone considering this neighborhood.

The apartment had a lovely view over the ocean and a full kitchen, and made a great home base for our stay in Istanbul. It’s right near the T1 tram which goes to ferries and the big sights, and there are lots of great restaurants and shops in Cihangir. Host was friendly and communicative. Loved it!

We stayed for one full week at this apartment and had a very good overall experience. The place was modern, spacious, and comfortable, with everything we needed for a pleasant stay. Its location was also a major plus, as it is very close to Taksim, Istiklal Street, and the metro, all within a 10-minute walk. The only thing to keep in mind is that the area is quite hilly, so getting around can be a bit of a workout. That said, if you want to stay near Istiklal Street, which is one of the most prime locations in Istanbul, some up and downs are to be expected. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place for the price (we paid) and location.

We were three Canadians staying at Bertran’s VRBO for six nights, and the suite was excellent. It was exceptionally clean, tastefully decorated, spacious, and very quiet. The kitchen was well equipped with everything needed to cook at home.The location was a major highlight….close to hundreds of restaurants, grocery stores, liquor shops, and ATMs, all within a short walk. Public transit was also nearby and easy to use for getting around Istanbul. We especially enjoyed being a short walk from the water for morning strolls.Bertran was responsive and helpful throughout our stay, which made everything easy and comfortable.We visited at the end of May and found it to be an ideal time; pleasant weather and manageable crowds, aside from the busiest areas near Taksim Square and parts of Fatih.We had aa amazing stay and would happily recommend this listing to others.

The flat is large and comfortable with plenty of seating. Photos are accuarte. but only has one bathroom which is a significant issue if there are several people staying there. It is bright only in the living room. Other rooms have no or little natural light and the lighting is rather poor especially in living room and bathroom. There is a balcony but it just faces another house so no view. Kitchen could be better equipped. New cutlery/crockery/non stick saucepans. Needs microwave which is now standard and we really needed for warming up. Location is not great. The immediate area is quite hilly 9as is most of Istanbul to be fair). To get to most places convenient tram at Findikli (7-8 min) but there are steep steps to go down which is fine but coming back is a challenge to climb up if you are older or have difficulty walking uphill. hence we saw many taxis taking people up from coast road. Taksim sq with istiqlal street is about 5-7 min walk but again steep climb on the way there. Quiet location. Immediate area of cihangir is nice to stroll around for more local rather than touristy feel. We stayed for 17 days. A few minor issues sorted out by owner otherwise all ok. We were there from 4-21 sept. Weather perfect. Loved Istanbul. So many different areas to visit/explore

Wir waren zu siebt und haben zwei Wochen in der Unterkunft verbracht. Die Lage war gut, die Nachbarschaft ruhig und die wichtigsten Dinge für den Aufenthalt waren vorhanden.Leider haben die Klimaanlagen im Sommer nicht gut funktioniert, sodass es oft sehr warm im Haus war. Außerdem gab es einen etwa vierstündigen Stromausfall, der später vom Gastgeber gelöst wurde.Der Gastgeber war freundlich und hilfsbereit, antwortete aber manchmal spät oder vergaß einige Dinge. Die Unterkunft wirkte älter als auf den Fotos, und am letzten Tag hatten wir auch Probleme mit dem warmen Wasser.Insgesamt hätten wir für den Preis etwas mehr erwartet.
