The apartment was clean and well equipped. It was in a perfect location - 10 mins walk to The Blue Mosque and other historic attractions. Very good local restaurants and little shops for essentials. The manager was very helpful and responsive.

great place for a long weekend in Istanbul

We had a lovely 4 night stay in the garden (basement) apartment. It was just as pictured, plus the building has a roofdeck with terrific views. And it is walking distance to all the sights. Yuksel is an excellent property manager, always available via Whats App.

The apartment was large and secure with a private balcony and outdoor area. Ugr, the manager, went out of his way to make us feel at home. He was amazing and we really appreciated everything he did for us.

Staying at Amedeos Home was easy. Excellent communication with host who arranged transport from and to the airport. Comfortable apartment within easy walking distance to tram and many of the sights of Istanbul, restaurants, museums and parks. Fast internet connection, nice outdoor area. Great property. Highly recommend. Will definitely return. Host was attentive and helpful. Also proactive making contact and facilitating our transfer from the airport, etc. We were a party of four. The property only had 1 bedroom but the lounge area had a nice futon which slept one very comfortably. This property is VERY conveniently located to Sultanahmet etc. All walkable (no need for taxis). All in all, a great stay. Thanks Ugur and team!

Living like a local

We really warmed to this apartment, area of the city and the people we met from the taxi driver who dropped us at the front door, our host who met us, the shop keeper opposite and the people we met as we walked to and from the apartment. Felt like a home from home.If I am honest the photos of the apartment slightly oversell the place but everything was great: powerful shower with plenty of warm water, comfortable bed,and plenty of space. Terrace upstairs was a peaceful place to unwind and chill - we had it to ourselves; private balcony area was ideal for a cup of tea and for drying washing.Location is ideal - close to all the sights and to tram and metro stops to get further afield. We return in another week and our looking forward to spending another 4 nights in the apartment.

We loved our stay at the Amedros it was very clean and terrace overlooks the sea. It was within minutes of the Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque and nearby is a city park to relax.The Tulips were in full bloom at Gulhane Park. Above all, our host was helpful in every way to make sure our stay was comfortable and our needs were met. I highly recommend The Amedros for a comfortable and fun stay.

Sehr gute Lage und Wohnung

Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt. Uğur bey ist sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Sehr gut war auch daß es einen Erstvorrat an Salz, Zucker, Kaffee usw gab. Sogar Waschpulver für die Wäsche war vorhanden. Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten sind fußläufig erreichbar.

Séjour quartier historique Istanbul

Yuksul a été réactif et disponible tout au long du séjour. L’appartement est à proximité des principaux sites à visiter : Mosquée Sainte Sophie, Mosquée bleue, le palais Topkapi, la citerne basilique ainsi que les bazars. Les transports permettent d’accéder facilement au côté asiatique de la ville.

Lovely apartment in stunning location

Great stay at this property. The apartment is just as described and in an amazing location very close to all major sights, but in a district with a very 'local' feel to it. Ugur, our host, was also fantastic, responding very fast to a couple of minor problems (getting washing machine to start, and the bathroom lights tripping out once). Great stay. Highly recommended if you want to stay in the real Istanbul, whilst staying close to everything!

What you see in the photos is what you get. I loved the cozy feel of the place. The location is amazing, there are soooo many shops and restaurants nearby. What really impressed me is the host. He & his wife were so sweet. I cannot thank them enough. They even brought us a complimentary bottle of wine for our stay. Truly went above and beyond. A friend & I (both women) were hungry but it was a bit later in the evening. We were scared to walk alone in a foreign country at night. The host was kind enough to walk us to a nearby restaurant and make sure we felt safe. Amazing experience. Also, they offer airporr service & covid tests for return flights.

Schöne gemütliche und saubere Unterkunft...die Lage ist top! Ich kann es nur weiterempfehlen! Wir hatten sogar zu unserem Balkon noch einen eigenen kleinen Garten. Uğur war auch sehr nett und hilfsbereit, falls man Fragen hatte konnte man ihn 24 Std erreichen ...am Abreisetag durften wir sogar noch bis zum Nachmittag bleiben und unsere Koffer dort lassen...ich habe nichts zu beanstanden.

Terrific place

We had a wonderful 5-night stay at this apartment in the Old City of Istanbul. The location was excellent-very convenient to tourist sites all over the Old City and also very convenient to the Tram, which was easy to navigate. The apartment was very comfortable for our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 children ages 6 and 7). The rooftop deck was a lovely breakfast spot. The managers coudn't have been more hospitable. This is perfect base for exploring Istanbul.

Superbe Apart!

Nous avons passé une semaine à 4 dans cet appartement fin mai 2014. Appartement conforme à la description de l'annonce, propre. Il donne sous la rue coté chambre et possède un bacon plus un petit jardin coté séjour (le jardin n'apporte pas grand-chose si ce n'est d'éloigner encore le vis à vis). Grande terrasse, superbement aménagée sur le toit de l'immeuble avec vue splendide sur la mer de Marmara et la vieille ville. L'immeuble est situé dans un quartier très calme a quelques minutes à pied de la Grande Mosquée (5mn). Epicerie et supermarché très proches, tram a 3 rues (en pente). Plusieurs petites mosquées a proximité que l'on entend très bien pendant l'appel de la nuit, mais que l'on a très vite oublié. Accueil très chaleureux de Burhan (notre hôte), qui nous a donné de nombreux conseils. petite attention très utile: mise à disposition d'une carte de transport(a charger) ainsi que d'un mobile Turc pendant la durée du séjour pour pouvoir le joindre 24h/24 pour un quelconque problème. En bref, un très agréable séjour, et une location que nous conseillons.
