Your Own Amagansett Escape - Infinity Pool, Lush Gardens, Walk to the Beach
Tucked into the trees on the cusp of Amagansett and bordered by nature preserve, this is the kind of house that makes you exhale the second you pull into the gravel drive. A private 4-bedroom beach house that was renovated with real intention, where every room has a point of view and nothing feels like it's trying too hard.
The kitchen is the heart of it. Marble waterfall island, green cabinetry, butcher block counters, brass fixtures, and a wall of steel-frame windows looking out at the pool. It's the room where everyone ends up, glass of wine in hand, while someone figures out dinner. An antique farmhouse table anchors the dining room under a statement pendant, and the living room is built around a sectional you'll sink into and not leave until someone suggests a swim. Through french doors, a sunroom filled with plants, rattan furniture, and the best afternoon light in the house.
Upstairs, four bedrooms done in white linen, warm wood, and natural textures. Two kings, a queen, and a twin with trundle. Freshly renovated bathrooms with marble vanities and walk-in rain showers. But honestly, you'll spend most of your time outside. A heated infinity-edge pool with baja sun shelf. Outdoor dining for eight. A fire pit lounge tucked into the garden. An outdoor shower. Landscaped grounds with hydrangeas, lavender, ornamental grasses, and stone paths winding through it all. A fifteen-minute stroll through the idyllic neighborhood leads to a secluded beach. There's a basement gym with a Peloton, treadmill, and weights if you're the type. And a front porch with a couple of chairs for the end of the day, when the light goes golden and nobody's in a hurry. Five minutes to Amagansett village. A whole world away from the rest of it.

About the host
Hosted by trent
We're a Southern couple who's called New York City home for almost twenty years. We're photographers, and somewhere along the way we found this place out east and made it ours. We love good design, a well-set table, and a house that feels like it has a soul. This is our home, not a rental property, and every detail reflects that.
Why they chose this property
Honestly, the quiet. We wanted somewhere close enough to Amagansett village to grab coffee or dinner on a whim, but far enough into the trees that you forget the city exists. This neighborhood feels like a secret. It's tucked away, surrounded by nature preserve, and the walk to the beach takes you through one of the prettiest stretches of road out here. It's the Hamptons without the scene, which is exactly why we love it.
What makes this property unique
Most rentals out here look like rentals. This one feels like someone's home, because it is. Every room was designed with intention, from the kitchen to the gardens. The property is bordered by nature preserve, so your nearest neighbors are trees. The grounds were landscaped to feel like they've always been here, with hydrangeas, lavender, ornamental grasses, and stone paths that wind through the yard. There's a heated infinity pool, a fire pit lounge in the garden, outdoor dining under the sky, and a front porch for the end of the day. It's private, it's beautiful, and it doesn't try too hard. Think less Hamptons house, more the beach house in the movie you wish you lived in.
