Why they chose this property
The Pine Island Lake community is one of a kind. Because no motors are allowed, our beautiful lake is quiet and peaceful. There are chipmunks, waterbirds, and other wildlife, and so much natural beauty, including gorgeous sunsets.
What makes this property unique
The lake is close by, and visible through large picture windows. When the many windows are open, there is a lovely cross breeze. Because the cottage is recently renovated, there is not that common mustiness of some lake cottages. The kitchen is top-notch—with a new KitchenAid gas range, fridge, and dishwasher, mica-flecked Quartz countertops, and ample cabinet space. The sunlight on the honey-colored wood walls, ceilings, and floors is golden. The bedrooms are cozy and quiet. The sunsets are amazing! There are many well-chosen comfortable places to relax, inside and out—including a set of Adirondack chairs on the patio and down by the lakeside. The outdoor shower is fabulous. The large outdoor wood dining set seats 8 and is beautiful. There's a gas grill a charcoal grill, and a portable fire pit. There's a sense of peace and wellbeing that comes with being near the lake—not easy to explain or to imitate—but it's the best.
